    mandolin only because i associate banjos with the movie deliverance, not to mention one of my favorite songs is my mandolin. dont bother looking it up its by an unknown band that never put out any albums. the girl in the band "misty mayhem" is quite talented though and has a cd i would recommend.

    do you ever feel some peoples answers on these questions are to short.....or to long?

    Tough call! I'd say guitar, only because I play 12-string myself, but not bass. It is nice to hear the bass guitar being played as a lead instrument though, it seems pretty rare except in the world of jazz. Most rock bassists just seem to play the same two or three notes for an entire song.
