I guess we are fickle things.

You need to laugh more, it is the best medicine in the world.

no one is outside of it. no ONE controls it. we ALL participate in creating it. we do so by the priorities we choose to live by.
we don't get to choose everything that affects our own lives, but we do each of us get to choose how we statistically affect EVERYONE'S life.

really i thing more about gratification then amusement, and at any rate, that's more a matter of imagination being expressed and the means of expressing it.

as for the appearance of age, there are many ways of creating illusions about that so who knows, i wouldn't even attempt to guess. i've heard somewhere that j-lo is somewhere in her 50s.

why do people imagine possibilities, not so much for themselves as for their world, to be limited by what they're familiar with?

I guess we are all just drifting in dreams. This pandemic has made a huge impact on all our lives.

Next person do you believe this pandemic will be over by January?

nope. it will eventually fade, but that may take most of another year. no guarantee either way. and a cure maybe five years. but thing i expect, is before this one can be safely forgotten, is another will come along. this is because climate warming. the warmer the climate, the higher probability of mutations. masks, distance, and hygene, what each of us does protects the other, the more people deliberately reject doing those things, the longer its going to drag out. and the longer we drag out facing what it takes to slow climate change, the more often we're going to see more of these kinds of things. i actually wasn't expecting the pandemics to start this soon. i expected we'd see more of sea level rise first. but all of these things are related in several ways.

if it is "over" by then (meaning down to the same background level as the common cold and flu), that would be wonderful and i won't knock it. but really that's pie in the sky as long there are people who refuse to understand, that robbing the freedom of others by aggressively refusing to be considerate, is not a freedom, but the reason we don't have the freedoms that we don't. and i mean that's just independent of this situation. a general principals sort of thing, that is made all the more visible by how it exerbates this problem.

and medical/pharmacutical science, can perform myricals of finding treatments that are effective, but its a process that takes years. its a lot faster now then it was 30 or 40 years ago, but its not going to produce silver bullets with a lead time of less then maybe four or five years, or at least that's the probability i expect. and in the meantime, and people refusing to recognize a need being part of it, part of the engine driving the whole environment/climate problem, rapid urbanization and all of its consiquences, is human birth rate in a world where we keep living longer, which i like living longer, but population is the multiplier for everything else we're creating problems for the environment. and its true america is no where near ready to completely cold turkey from fossil fuels, nor much of the rest of the world, but we do need to stop subsidising them at the expense of transitioning away from them.

you probably weren't expecting an essey answer, but again all of these things combine together, from ebola to sars to this, and the ones that will almost certainly come after, and they're all products of and tied to, what population, a transportation policy that worships the automobile, and many many other factors, deforestation and so on, but the loading of human population statistically on the environment, the resulting loss of species diversity, the loss of diverse species habbitat. that last is the driver for diseas of zootic oregen.

so maybe THIS one will fade faster then i'm expecting. that would be nice. but there's really no logical reason to expect it to.

we CAN fix what we've broken, but just not by continuing to break it. and that means really take a hard honest look at how we look at things. we don't live in a universe that begins and ends with symbolic (money) value, nor what we tell each other to pretend about what truly is unknown, but rather one of rocks and trees and landscapes.

i'm supposed to think of a question now of course. ok, well what does the color green (well its a whole range of hues of course, along with shades and intensities, but at any rate) suggest to whoever wants next to answer that.

I believe in having a tip top immune system (which handily enough research seems to suggest that’s partly what ladies are so good at discerning when they find a chap attractive, but I digress...)

There is a tribe in some remote county, they actually see more colours than we do in the West. Many more shades of green.
I will find the link later.

Would that fascinate the next poster?

Time passes fast but life still looks too long. No matter how many years have passed, I am still alive. It is hard to believe that day will come unless I commit suicide.

Have you eaten Burger King in the last 1 month?

It is sunny here today. It is full of sunshine outside. But I am depressed as usual.

Is the difference between your daytime air temperature and dewpoint most of the times less than 10 degrees in your place? It is so in my place. Thanks to the surronding seas from the both sides (both south and north).

As one sea is not enough, we have 2 seas from both south and north.

I don't think so. That must be nice weather for harvesting bananas and cocoa. You're lucky!

I want well below zero temperatures in winter myself so I am not lucky at all. Far from it. But I can't just move to Eastern Turkey for only weather either.

I didn't understand your question. Can you ask it in a more simple way?
