it's not what you think. give me a couple socks and I'll return you two biological weapons of terror in three hours regardless of how clean my feet were, how much foot powder I used etc.
I was just joking and truthfully I'm the last person who should comment on that. I have this 1 pair of shoes that makes my feet smell like expensive cheese. And they're my favorite shoes. Its gotten to the point where both my roommate and gf have sat me down and been like "we need to talk about your feet..."
That sounds like a problem...you sound like a nice guy, but smelly feet may be a bit of a turnoff....and I like cheese, too...
I have bad news for all of you. As I slowly become a fossil, the circulation to my feet is not what it used to be. And I HATE wearing socks to bed (though it can be good for traction, oddly enough). If I let my feet get cold at night, and I can sleep through it too often, I have problems until well after lunch with substantial loading pain that gradually tapers off. Some of this might be the effects of working in a dance studio in the 70s, running track in high school, wearing boots on a ship for 4 years, cheap Italian knock offs, barefoot hiking (lots of rocks just below the surface around here). Anyway, I've given my feet a reasonable beating. I've even been barefoot in the Sahara desert (painful itty bitty sharp rocks)!
