Ok so I am trying to figure out where to buy these items. http://img11.deviantart.net/83d7/i/2014/249/b/e/aria_blaze_moody_by_imperfectxiii-d7y84g8.png What is the name of that type of jacket she has? A Blazer? Where would I get these pants? Stores these days, are lame and square, don't have any cool clothes.
It's a green cut denim jacket, rings cartoon character, obviously you will have to interpret it yourself...Cos they ain't real!
Pants could be purple leggings with pockets and white dots painted on...or sewn on....boots can be any color spray painted purple.
Bobos where I am from are knockoff shoes. Those $20 no name sneakers. They used to sing songs to kids that had them when I was in school. "Bobos just a $1.99 Bobos they're on the welfare line."
For cosplay stuff Use that expanding foam stuff Do some skeleton type things with coathangers then spray the expanding foam stuff on it the cut with a utility knife, send shapes with sandpaper, then paint Great for head pieces with big hairstyles, overlay for boots etc There are a couple vids on YouTube about it, and if you take your time looks way better than crap you buy at $2 shops
You are right, it is better than reality. Jackets in reality are all saggy looking. This jacket is special because it has the cool collar. What is the kind of collar in the jacket kind of like a russian gangster. Also I think her sleeves are not really cut, i think the cut is part of the design and not torn by scissors. The rings I can find easily they are just felt bracelet rings. Unfortunately, I can't find any pants at the thrift store that has those ornate speckled design. Nor can I find that wrestling belt. I am vegan. Another thing is, her Morning Star hairclips aren't anywhere to be found, I have been to hottopic recently and I don't remember seeing any, The necklace I don't know where to find, Target doesn't have large fake red rubies. The boots I can replace with black boots, won't damage the integrity of the cosplay. Same with the blouse thing, it is not a core essential, I can replace it with any similar blouse. I am not sure the exact name of the blouse or top she is wearing, what is the name of the style? Not sure what the foam would be used for, other than the extrusions on the boots.
Make the belt out of felt too. Use some "White Out" to make the dots on the pants. Her top looks like a corset. A hobby/craft store will have the red jewel and probably some stars you can make the hair clips and belt buckle out of. Or you can use cardboard painted or covered with glitter/aluminun foil, etc.
Yes, but what is the name of the style of that particular jacket? The drive to cosplay is the drive to aristocracy. Many cosplayers, befuddled with a lack of materials availiable to them in modern society, begin lose sight of the core drive of what cosplay is, the essence of aristocracy. The belt must be gothic and metal, it cannot simply be felt, for I would fall into the pit of failed cosplays, who lost sight of their core original essence, the essence of aristocracy. Nor can it be leather, for I have the genetic code similar to that of the Hindu, the Hindus of which whom had migrated from the the Heart of the World, which is Turkey. The Hindus, kind and compassionate towards cows. The jewels, must be similar to a certainty, at the very least, luminescent like plastic, for a plastic ruby I would even settle, for it has the right amount of specularity. Opulence, and magnificence, is to be strived. The impending march of star trek, enforced uniforms, enforced uniformity, without flavor, opulence, or taste, marches impending on the event horizon. A future without personality, a future without magnificence or taste, a future with only function, but no form. This future is not of Me and I am not of it.
dont forget the $20 part he/she wants this perfect aristocratic essence authentic leather jeweled outfit for just $20
The style of jacket looks bolero-ish to me.....sort of a jacket/vest....but short sleeves cut into points like that.
