I understand now why Englanders so cold, if I never saw the sun or had no running water and wore tattered clothes, I'd be upset too..

 

it's fun. everyone join in! pretty soon we'll get the teenaged americans who like to fake an english accent, have every monty python episode memorized, and just dying to make the post "i think i should live in england, it's my emo holy land" thread defending them to the end. it'll be badass.

I love England. I truly do.

Theres Chavs on every street corner.
A new murder every week in the newspaper.
Prime Minister with only one eye.

But next year from February the Gov is doling out £2.5 mill for under 26s to go to the theatre free. Its to get younger people interested in the theatre, and the only reason i dont go is cos it costs too much!!

Theyre also doing under 16s for swimming but thats on my birthday!

 

I think a little Anglophobia is just what the doctor ordered. in fact, I'd like to see more irreverence toward Europe in general in this country.

 

i don't know enough stereotypes about russians. we don't have an active russian forum here like we do the UK.
