There is no need to. Just my presence is an overwhelming gift to all.

I just don't care much for the whole gift giving/receiving thing. I use to be like Drift and not give anything during the holidays but now i just give money to only immediate family. Just my parents and my brother. That way they can spend it how they wish.

That's a sweet gesture. Especially around this time of year when they feel left out.

 

It was probably established sometime in the 80s then. I was shocked to see it was a strip club, and it was completely out of control. There were no rules, it seemed. Guys were allowed to do everything just short of actually having sex with these girls. Then all that went away.

 

My exact sentiment, even thanksgiving has lost much of its luster and appeal because the entire focus and emphasis these days is now on Black Friday shopping, and not on family and friends

You weren't allowed to go all the way? Would you believe that when I got to Air Traffic Control School at Keesler AFB (Biloxi, MS) after jump school that I traded my Elgin watch to a stripper to see if my stuff still worked after the famous 'suspended agony'. At that club, in 1966, if you bought the girl a bottle and you could both go to the back room. I talked the manager into holding my watch, which I lied and said was a graduation gift that I couldn't lose, and that I'd be back on payday to get it. Stuff still worked and I hope he enjoyed that watch.

Ahhhh, finally some clarity. ..

 

Thanksgiving is about the only holiday I actually looked forward to, but yeah, you're right, before long they'll make Black Friday an official holiday! It's amazing people have gotten killed from being stomped and dragged here, all over material things. It's an embarrassment to humanity.

 

It's all centered around Christmas
