    It's sort of like a detour from the rest of the year. But there are good things about it. Good feelings that you get to experience. The actual holiday - Christmas Day - is a little funky for me; nothing is open, the streets are basically empty, and I want it to be over with. But I dig the hustle and bustle a little bit. And Black Friday is pretty cool; though total commercialism or whatever you want to call it.

    Good thread. To be honest, I can't wait for it all to be over, as it's always a stressful time of the year for me. All the goddamn capitalism attached to it, as well as the traffic, long lines at the stores and the annoying people waiting in them, beggars waiting outside or coming up to you in the parking lot with a story, people breaking into cars in the shopping center parking lots, people getting their Christmas decor stolen out of thier yards, houses broken into- Christmas presents stolen, etc. Too much bullshit going on that makes it a holiday I don't look forward to like I used to when I was a kid. Thank goodness for alcohol, LOL :D

    Hey, remember that club at Benning that was right up the street from jump school called The Hidden Door? I don't know if it was around when you went through, but, when I went through airborne school, it was a fuckin strip club! I couldn't believe it!

    I always look forward to Christmas. After seeing the family stuff I usually have a couple of friends over to bong on and drink and party with. :)
