In NZ it was common for "boomers" born up to about 1960 to be circumsised, after 1960 it fell out of fashion, or at least that what I seem to observe from my experiences.

 

Yes I believe that it was like that for a time in much of the British commonwealth. They abandoned it years ago! Here in the US it's slowly on the decline since the 90s, but a majority of boys born here are still circumcised.

Ah few guys are circumcised there unless it's for religious custom.

Here in the US like 3/4 of guys are. Less than 25 and 30+ years ago when just about every guy was!

Well, I was at birth... kind of. Neither of my parents would explain to me how and/or why I was partially circumcised but, clearly, you can see that I was cut but it somehow healed over. It wasn't until I was 30 when I had a doctor who saw this during his initial exam and asked me what happened, which I had no answer. He deemed me a good candidate to be circumcised again and, man, do I have a funny story about that! I surmised that because the head of my dick was exposed, well, it did work the way it was supposed to so no need to do anything about it. I'm living proof that if you're an adult and you get circumcised, um, no - it's not fun.
