Are you afraid of dark alone at home?

I am afraid of dark at home alone.

All lights are on at my home when it is night

 

I am afraid of dark. There is no way in hell I can sleep with lights turned off.

The only times I was not afraid of sleeping at dark were the times that I was drunk.

 

I feel like somebody is coming towards me in the dark.

 

no. and i probably should be, i bloodied my face pretty good running into the side of my door one night.

 

Nah. Sometimes I pretend I'm a bat when nobody is around.

 

It is not about liking for me. It is about being scared in the dark.

I'm with you grandeur. I actually fall asleep every night with either a dim light on while reading or the tv on

Not afraid of the dark. But I live in a major city. Ambient light always flooding in. Total darkness is impossible. Maybe if I go camping or something I'd be like "ahhhhhh! Too much darkness!"

That being said I'm scared of riding public transportation after dark. Dog, like after 10 the druggies, criminals, and weirdos come out

 

Actually they've been there all along, there were just a bunch of regular people mixed in....

 

I've always embraced being afraid/scared. I somehow find ways of turning it into excitement sort of like a thrill or whatever.
Adrenaline rush is where its at; aka thrill seeking, dare devil mentality.

Scared of the dark even with a potential for supernatural forces, nightmares, loud fireworks, or a thunderstorm, an earthquake. A part of me is really scared of such things in life, but then another part of me loves it lol

That's some good perception. You're right. They are always there. Let's just say they become more active after 10.

 

Feeling and even seeing as if they were around in the dark is bad enough.

 

Ghosts are real and you need to grow up. It's a scientific fact. Stop being a pussy. Yeah, it would be scary if footsteps started rapidly approaching you when you turned the lights off. But wouldn't they be anyway. You can't stop whatever happens. Cross those bridges when you get to them. In the meantime, lights out.
