i've only heard the term guido (the usa term they used for chav listed on that site) up when i visited dangermoose near toronto... seems like the particular culture you're talking about would be more common where there's italian ancestry around though or at least that's what seemd to be the thing north of toronto... i'm risking sounding like a racist, and maybe guido is a deragatory term for italian... but am i right? around here we say ghetto-fied.. or i've heard hood rat too.. or gangsta... for similar type stuff described...

 

the tesrms you've described sound dangerous, accepted you would probably get a bit of lip of Chavs, but they would proabaly leave well alone if not bothered- like dogs! (sorry dog lovers)
