I'd consider someone cultish, who clings to their party no matter what, no matter what candidate emerges. There are Democrats and Republicans who seem to cling to their party, and are closed minded to anything else. Those types I'd consider to be cultish. Cult tends to mean that you're brainwashed into just being a dutiful little soldier to whatever the cause, and that's not just the case for Republicans.

 

That's true. There are true believers everywhere. The difference of course, is WHAT one believes in. Look at the voting records and the statements of the right--look at the voting records and the statements of the left. See which fits ones idea of what is best for ----and this is my choice --- the good for working americans and which is good for the 1%. I've always chosen the left, but not as a true believer. The left has failed to improve the lives those that need improvement the most--the white and black ultra poor, although the left DOES do a better job of it.

There is a big difference between comparing something and CONTRASTING something. Talking about Trump haters would be a case of contrasting something, because Trump haters stand against all the evil which has come from Trump and his blind followers who hate immigrants.

 

What was that he said about Shithole countries? Like the one Omarosa came from? She has a tape which aired on TV today. You can hear General Kelly telling her how it is going to be during her termination and hear his warning about her reputation. Now Trump has started calling her names. Yes, Trump has a cult and his followers are brain dead dipshit fools.

Which is why it's such a stupid and trite comparison when you have experienced REAL cult activity/damage. Trump isn't even close, neither was Obama (though Obama was a LOT closer to cult-like than Trump, but Obama would have been the "good" kind of cult I guess.

Of all the "I hate Trump" whining we hear these days, this attempt at a cult connection is about the saddest. And it detracts from those who have actually suffered from REAL cult encounters.

 

Who said they hate immigrants? You do mean actual immigrants right? The ones who arrive legally and do what they're supposed to do to become citizens, right?

I know you are not calling the people who cross the border illegally "immigrants", that would be a terrible insult to actual immigrants.
