I don't hate America. I object to the policies of your current government as I object to many of the policies of ours. But I certainly don't hate America or Americans. In fact there are many elements of American culture I find quite appealing. I doubt many people here hate America either, we're just poking a bit of harmless fun at Americans. Now pisstaking is a very British tradition, and one should not mistake pisstaking for hate. Really, it's a sign of affection from us....

 

I wasn't talking about you, but about ming/sentient/Ronald and their/(his?) constant bashing of anything remotely American..which is kind of ironic when you think about it.

Laughing at silly people isn't a problem, laughing at silly people because they belong to a particular nation I find difficulty with. I find it is usually used to create an air of superiority, okay whilst just group bonding but dangerous when used by the dark side.
