Are these forums still active?

Just created this profile yesyerday and wondering if i post some stuff if i can get reasonablr responses soon. Ive seen some posts way back from 2004 and im like damn, i wanted to reply but this is too old. I have a lot of miscellaneous questions and i dont want them to be answered by some trolling bigot. I lost hope in yahoo answers, quora, reddit and found refuge here hoping to make posts and friends from this community. Let me see how it goes

 

I have all the answers and I'm here almost sometimes.

I too welcome you. I began posting here over a decade ago and then found the site fell to the wayside. Many of my friends from that era have either changed their names, gone elsewhere, or have passed away/moved on. I wouldn't refer to myself as a troll. I don't go everywhere and I don't engage with everyone.
Take what you like and what seems relevant. Don't engage in bullying. It's a great site IMHO.

 

Some older posts were created by people who lasted only a few days, so you will never get a response. Clicking on the OPs avatar will show you when they were last active.
The best way to get known and accepted on this site is to click on "new posts" (above) and enter into some discussions with members who are currently active. The people online will vary during the day, depending on what part of the world that they are living in.
Compared with most sites, HF is fairly troll and idiot free. I find that more than half of my posts get a reply, so you will soon get to know people here.

No one usually cares about my rambling pointless posts, but if anyone was paying attention in Chat About Nothing I had a bit of a dish soap crisis this weekend and ended up hand washing some pots and pans by dissolving a couple of Cascade pods in sink water. They look just like Tide pods, but with better colors.

I soooooo wanted to eat one.
