A sapiosexual is someone that is sexually and mentally turned on by smart people. Sapiosexuals are aroused by intelligence.
I wouldn't call it aroused but intelligence is a key component of what makes someone attractive to me.
What do they call people who are attracted to stupid people? Seems they would be getting a lot more action.
Interesting... I find myself attracted to women who are smart, but there's this girl who is smarter than me; her name is Audrey... & I thought I had the hots for her, but I'm intimidated by her intelligence. I'm used to being smarter than average, and she puts that right into perspective. I suspect @everything bagel is a smart cookie too!
this is what most women claim to be, before marrying bubba the unemployed meth dealer. personally i'm neutral. personality is what matters, as long as she's not too stupid to hold a conversation.
I have experienced that the more attractive people are, the more they use that as a tool to get ahead in life but the brain matter remains dormant. If you get my drift.
Seems like an arbitrary sexual orientation. For it to warrant any legitimacy, practically anyone who claimed to be sapiosexual would by extension have to be bixsexual. Otherwise intelligence is just a secondary or tertiary quality a heterosexual or homosexual person looks for in a mate. Intelligence is a multi-faceted concept as well, which I think undermines the idea to an extent. I think it would be like making a classification of athleticsexual, someone sexually turned on by athletic people. Obviously many people are going to be attracted to people who are fit but it's not necessarily primary to sexual orientation.
Intelligence is sexy. There is a girl at work that I find attractive but few guys would describe her as so. She's small, flat-chested, long straight hair. Never wears makeup, wears nerdish glasses and plain clothes. She is also kinda shy and awkward acting. She just looks smart, if you get my drift. I'd say she is the sexiest woman down there.
IMO in first place would be the meeting of the minds. Sapio- comes from the Latin verb sapere, meaning “to be wise” or “to have sense.” Now that you both are on the same basic page; because that page has many sub pages and it gets very intricate and goes deep like into duality, spirituality, learned knowledge etc. Wisdom has many definitions. Then comes straight, bi or gay. Either would be fine. Then on from there.
