Are radical Christians . . .

I've voted Repub through Bushie in 2000, but now think both parties suck, and have sat out the last two elections.

The abortion issue is a tough one, and I've voted for the party opposing it, but Bush has screwed up so badly in Iraq and is getting so dangerously off-center on domestic-security related issues that I can't support him or his party for the time being.

Campbell, I think there's a compromise in there somewhere on abortion.

 

I really think Bush felt he could get things resolved over there, yet I believe in the prophecies of the Bible, and things over there are pretty much going the way of the prophecies. America according to the prophecies will be destroyed by northern nations in one hours time. Down the road many of the Islamic nations will have the weapons to fulfill that goal.

There is very little room for compromise when you are speaking about the life of a child.

 

What do you consider acceptable compromise?

 

You know things look so bad from where im sitting im not sure I could even answer your question. It's like we are on a speeding train that is approaching the bridge that has been destroyed, and the trains brakes are gone. Now what would be the best way for the passengers to depart the train? America still has time, but when the Islamic nations get the nukes they desire all bets are off.
God's third day is getting closer. I know God has a plan for His people.

 

haha. if you think politics concern moral issues you don't understand politics. there's a separation of church and state for a reason. abortion rights aren't about the right to kill a baby or not. nobody wants to kill any babies and if you do, you're crazy. it's about the right to choose and about whether or not the government has the right to tell you what to do with your body. a majority of the pro-choice people out there aren't playing some sort of 'let's see how many little babies we can slaughter' they're trying to defend a woman's right to choose.

not that i'm taking either stance, just playing devil's advocate here.

 

I don't have to understand politics to know that my vote goes to the canidate most likely to support the view that a woman should not murder her unborn child. Look in the buckets filled with blood, with the little arms and legs of the innocent. AND TELL ME THATS HER BODY. AND WHEN YOU STAND BEFORE GOD HOLD THAT BUCKET RIGHT TO HIS FACE, AND TELL HIM IT IS A WOMANS RIGHT. And then tell God your ready for your eternal reward. When you stand before God, your arguement supporting a womans right to murder her unborn, is going to sound so lame.

 

haha. i love how you christians are so judgemental. and why are you trying to control what other people do with their bodies anyway? i'm already living under a fascist government without more people like you trying to tell me what not to do with my body. already, i have to have the government's approval to hunt, to fish, i can't smoke the plants that i want because the government says so. i can't own a dildo in my state if i wanted to. the government tells us we can't get tattoos (in some states), the government already holds our hands everytime we want to take a piss. why can't people like you realize that everybody has the right to control what they do and pay the consequences of their own actions, and that nobody has the right to tell me what to do with my body? if i want to kill my fetuses, let me do it and let me pay for the consequences. why is it your problem?

I support a party that believes in letting people choose for themselves even if that choice is wrong.

It seems strange that Christian Fundies make a big deal about abortion and gays but ignore other Biblical commands. ie Exodus 20:8-11.(otherwise known as the Fourth Commandment.

Then there's Ted Haggard,Mark Foley,Tom Delay,Jack Abramoff,Duke Cunningham,Bob Ney etc... "By their fruits you shall know them"- Jesus

So Campbell34 have any of your posts on here done anything to uplift Jesus and lead people to HIM or did your posts just turn people off to Jesus?

I have come to appreciate that evangelical Christianity can provide a warm, comforting,and,at times, even stimulating community. I have also seen the flip side: that it can be judgmental and closed minded.There are just too many beliefs at the core that I can't see myself ever accepting.

 

The God of love has told you before hand, thou shalt not kill. You have symbolically told God, "Screw you God, I will kill if I feel like it, because it's my right ."
So God has created a place for people who think and do such things. And God has created a place for people who obey Him. Heaven or Hell, it's our freedom of choice. Only God has the right to take life, because He created it, and I'm sorry, your not God.

 

It is not Gods desire to lead you into temptation, He has done all that he can do to save you. God has given you the free gift of salvation, yet most here just laught at God and his word. Your eternity will be determined by your own actions, don't even try to blame God, take responsibility for yourself.

 

No. 1. You never told me how or when you became a Christian, and that was my orginal question.

No. 2. You support a party that has pushed the murder of 50 million plus Americans, and do you really think God is going to bless this country? It is because of this evil that America is going down. You support the right of a mother to murder her child even if it's wrong. So this sick kind of freedom you believe is more important, than a childs life. May God have mercy on us all.

No. 3. They hated John the Baptist, they hated Jesus, they hated the prophets, and you know why. Because they did not tell the people the things that made them feel comfortable. They told them the truth. Jesus said when the world hates you, just remember, they hated me first. I will tell you something, God is going to make a big deal about abortion on the day of judgement. God deals very severely with those who shead the blood of the inocent. And America is a wash in blood. So when you stand before the God of all creation, you tell Him how important it was for a woman to have the freedom to murder her child. And then tell God, your ready for your eternal reward.
