Are Political Correctness and identity politics destroying America?

I don't see the connection between voting for Mickey Mouse and being PC

 

Ask yourself how you can possibly respect a democracy that prefers to join the Mickey Mouse Club to electing one of their own? The only honor among thieves is they trust each other to steal from one another at every possible opportunity. It is illegal to vote for Mickey Mouse, because every candidate was proposing ridiculous tax cuts that even the mindless mob wouldn't buy. They were promising them anything they wanted to hear, until they realized they might as well vote for Mickey Mouse. Respect is impossible if nobody trusts or listens to anyone else. Making it illegal to vote for Mickey is a way to hide the fact they no longer have a functional government, which is what the mindless mob seems to prefer. They demand respect, like indignant chickens, all that much louder the more you point out that nobody is listening.

So, I'm developing the analog logic to make it easy to keep them all preoccupied. That kind of stupidity is so predictable you can use it to manipulate the stock market. Once the banks start obviously taking their money from them in order to take more money from them, they'll start to catch on that someone has to do a little deeper thinking, because their Wall Street accounts are turning into garbage. Throw the wolves a bone, and watch the blood fly, as they eat each other alive. Fuck America, I want my constitutional rights and two party system restored. The longer they draw this out, the worse the outcome.

 

This actually happened this decade, a cartoon frog was labelled a "hate symbol"...

At it's core, Political Correctness attempts to limit freedom of expression. I understand it's appeal in places that want to regulate behavior and language such as the media, schools and workplaces but overall I don't think it's good.

Let's say we suppress vulgarity in the name of being PC for the culture at large, under the guise of civility people will just utilize another mode of voicing disdain such as passive aggressiveness, which I think is just as, if not more corrosive.

I'm socially inept and, though I don't call myself an incel, involuntarily celebate. And I don't like political correctness, but I don't think that because I'm uncool makes it uncool or wrong.
