And there are people with girl parts who want boy parts, and vice versa. Thanks to the wonders of modern science, they can have them.
Yes, but what is reality? To the majority of ladies past a certain age, the general opinion of the likes of Bruce Jenner, is A) He didnt choose to transform his body into that of a 65 yr old woman, now 69, midriff and cellulite included B) Then what actually happens, dumps his old wife, actually tries to pretend it was old wifes fault they broke up becuase she wasnt accepting of his change, and in a "tell all book" he tried to peddle.............then goes and dates a 22 yr old (MIss Sophia H to his right was also born male) And this was "woman of the year" a couple years back. What a load of bullshit
If your point in this is what great women men make, then you've convinced me. Sophia H has it going on.
The issue I have with this is not about gender reassignment as a concept, I agree that for some it's the right move. My issue is with doctors who experiment on their patients. And a good part of this is still very experimental.
What are you talking about? Jonas Salk and Albert Sabin experimented on his patients. And look where that got us. I still remember lining up for my sugar cube.
I never had it on sugar cubes, just microdots or blotter. I think the aims of Salk were considerably different, but he did take extreme risks with his patients. In this day and age, he would have been jailed for it and all we hear about are his successes. What happened to his failures? I understand what we have gained, but look at the volumes of medical information we got from the 3rd Reich, Inquisition and the advance of the Mongols. I'll admit to my bias though. I have encountered too many doctors who seem to push a narrow path of treatment because it follows a long term study schedule. I ran into this in New York years ago, my GP suddenly started steering all of my problems toward 1 overall cause, sleep apnea. The pattern was so obvious I had to look it up and what do you know, he's a sleep specialist using his GP patient's insurance to subsidize his research. Now, imagine that sort of ethic being applied to changing a person's gender. It could open the doors to a LOT of gender reassignment malpractice being shielded by legal paperwork that allows them to run roughshod over a person's body. Mary Shelley would have been inspired by today's medicine. Instead of wearing a pneumatic pump on my face, I went to a proper EENT specialist who helped me through my allergies and deviated septum issues.
Sugarcubes, microdots, and blotter? I am not even joking I thought you guys were talking about a polio vaccine. Clearly acid. My favorite was geltabs. Or even better, mushrooms. Since we're talking about it, anyone notice a comparable difference between LSD and psilocybin?
The worst thing ever eh? 50 million people died during wwii but political correctness just really takes the cake!
No, when you are travelling, both tablet and phone have a low battery, but you only have one charger. Thats the worst. Worse than political correctness or WWII
Political Correctness is nothing more than Professional Wrestling smack talk designed to encourage complete idiots to fight at home over who is the better wrestler. The idea that smack talk is good or bad, belies the fact the audience demands it.
Respectful and decent people don't vote for Mickey Mouse and don't vote for whoever advertises the most, only to vote the bums out of office. That kind of fucking respect I can do without. Either you can call a spade a fucking spade or you can't, and there's no point in playing with words when the political system is nonexistent. Fucking idiots demand respect when they can't even agree on what the word means.
