Born again... die to yourself, that is, have the ego "die" and be "reborn" as your true, enlightened self. Heaven is now, not some fuzzy, distant future. Become enlightened like Jesus and you'll be in heaven; or actually, you will be heaven.
you're an idiot, and not a very good one. I wish i could say that I didnt believe in your god, that he was false. But that would make me sound like a fool, because even though i dont credit your god with what he claims, I can at least say you are valid in your worship, and that I respect your faith in your god. Too bad you can't do the same for others. Oh, and She is your mother too, you are just to blinded to know her.
Why would I say the same for others? To do so, I would have to call my God a liar, and I know He is not. His prophecies declare His honesty. His Word is true. Your mother has no voice, so outside of tradition, you do not know what she thinks.
Jesus Christ states that who so ever believes in Him shall not perish but will have everlasting life. Jesus was the blood sacrifice. Unless you are covered by His blood, there is no hope. If earth is heaven, why all the wars and murders? Doesn't sound like heaven to me. Jesus said, "I go to prepare a place for you, so where I am you will be also." I think you could become enlightened, but you would have to believe in what Jesus actually said.
"These are not my words but the words of He who sent me". If Jesus didn't say anything of himself, "If I witness of myself I am nothing", that is if you believe everything he said was actually God speaking through him, then when he said, "whoever believes in me shall not perish" then it was actually God saying whoever believes in God shall not perish, not Jesus saying whoever believes in Jesus shall not perish, or God saying whoever believes in Jesus will not perish. It seems like the fleshy identity of the vehicle God was using to communicate through should be a non-issue, "If I witness of myself I am nothing..." As far as all the wars and murders, wouldn't these things be considerrd tragadies of the fleshly realm, things only those "born of the flesh" would stress over? Aren't christians supposed to have "The peace that the world can neither give or take away"? Sounds like heaven isn't supposed to depend on the physical circumstances you're surrounded by, it's a spiritual realm--someplace your spirit can dwell even when your body is surrounded by chaos.
Because heaven isn't a place, it's a state of mind. Right now almost everyone is in hell, and the state of the world and our relations within it reflects it. And to be enlightened is to do far more than merely believe what Jesus said. It's to find the Christ within us all, to truly be Christlike. To follow Christ doesn't mean to believe, or to walk around quoting him. It means to be like him. Christ implores us "to be perfect, as your father in heaven is perfect."
