Hi, Are monkeys dangerous to have as pets? What is your opinion? How to handle them? Any precautions to be taken? I would like to hear from the experienced people here. I thought of buying one. But, I was disappointed while reading this http://www.torontodefencelawyers.com/blog/general-category/illegal-monkey-canada/ because it says that it is illegal to own a monkey as a pet in Toronto. Is it true? I’m currently staying in Toronto and it will be difficult for me if this rule exists. Need your comments and suggestions on this. Thanks in advance
So your back..But not without a trace! Yeah..I spot you too....chig a chig a chig! Don't feed the troll!
Monkeys are both independent and bossy, so they train you. With their strong fingers from swinging in the trees, the last thing you want is them poking you in the eye, or trying to restyle your ears. Monkeys seem to have a thing about exploring human ears and noses that stick out. If you visit the monkey sanctuary down in Devon, before you buy a ticket you take a walk around with one of the staff. If the monkeys do not seem to like you, out you go. The rule is, you are visiting their home, they are not visiting yours. You are not allowed to take ANY food in, human snacks can make monkeys very sick or worse, particularly if they contain meat products, salt, or refined sugar. The monkeys loved my daughter and I, but Jane was banned from ever visiting.
