Are Mentally Ill Getting Attacked More Frequently NOW?

    I know they are statistically more likely to be the victims of violence, rather than the cause (please, look it up). But I was wondering about the fall-out from Newtown and other mass shootings were the shooter was, or was alleged to be, mentally ill.

    I can just speak from where I live, Detroit. Here are two incidents from nearby Redford Township:
