I definitely watch porn. My sister watches porn. I sometimes recommend porn that impressed me to female friends.

And on the girl mags, you bet one of my HS friends brought the Play Girl with naked Peter Steal to the sleep over. And yes, we all stared. And yes, we would have also liked to see him in full sex, not just naked.

It is not that we don't do porn. Check into Yaoi. Much of it is cartoon porn focused on men. Sure some of it is just erotic, but mostly, porn. It's mostly drawn by girls for girls. Now if we could get hot guys naked and preforming, we wouldn't have to spend so much time writing and drawing to get what we like.

 

That is one I never understood. Are women into gay porn because they identify with the men and thus feel more powerful? Or is it just some weird japanese thing?

 

Is it that different then the girl on girl porn some guys like? If you are all about hot girls, then lesbian sex is a hot fantasy, regardless of how the reality looks. If you are all about the hot guys, then guy on guy makes for some hot fantasy, regardless of how the reality looks.

Porn at it's core is all about fantasy. Porn stars are paid to deliver that. You don't see them when the trip over the tall shoes. You don't see the take where the angle failed. You don't see it if the condom ripped in the first take. You never see the batteries in a toy fail mid take. Nobody in porn had trouble remembering where the bottle of lube is. In porn, the guy never finishes in seconds (at least on screen), then has to get back up for the rest of it. If a safe word get's used, it's cut out of the finished film. Anything that does not fit the fantasy get's edited out before the consumer sees it. How often does sex actually look like a porn movie?

Many women have higher sex drives. I'm the higher sex drive partner in my marriage. I'm horny several times per day almost every day and my husband only is a couple times per week.

 

There are women I have been with whose horniness and nastiness far exceeds mine. And that's saying a lot, as if given an option I would spend almost the whole day having sex, everyday. Stopping only to eat. And some women don't stop to even eat lol. It's a misconception that men are hornier

In my opinion, the difference is not of gender, but of the individual. That doesn't mean if you did a scientific survey it would come up to 50-50, just like men and women are of equal number in the world doesn't mean if you actually counted, it will be precise down the middle.

The problem however is that women have learnt and are probably expected to not evince their sexuality as men. I pretty much grew up believing sex was what a man wanted and begged a woman for WHICH IS A HUGE BOATLOAD OF CRAP. But how can I blame myself when women get so many things in return for sex

 

I think men are more horny than women, in general, yes. I see it in society and when observing other people's relationships. However, of course there are some women that are more horny than their male counter parts or that will match a man's libido and I am one of them. I'm always horny. There's been a lot of responses here from other women saying they're very sexual too, of course you're gonna find that among people who are spending time in the 'love & sex' forum. I can relate to what sally said about not having sex for a few days and getting cranky. Sex is a great stress reliever... And I crave affection.

 

I thought about it and I think you are right about it being individual, more so than having to do with gender.
And I also agree that it's a boatload of crap that sex is what men wanted and begged women for --- funny how we are all raised with the odd stories and teachings of our parents.
I've never known a man to beg for sex unless he was in a bad marriage though. And I don't know any woman getting things in return for sex unless they are a mistress, have a sugar daddy or are a prostitute. I guess that applies for those who sleep around carelessly.

 

Good points friend. Women love sex just as much as men. I think our culture has done a good job of trying to hide that. When a girl shows she loves sex as much as she does, society often aims to call her a whore/slut/cum-dumpster.

I think comparing the sex drive of men and women is like comparing bananas and peaches....
There are so many things that go into what makes a person horny... age, experience, inhibitions, history, education, health. I am definitely hornier now than when I was younger... and part of is due to all of the things I listed. I now know more about sex, I'm more adventurous, less inhibited...
