Are men really hornier than women?

No reason to apologize. We all have many misconceptions about a lot of stuff. And we also tend to generalize based on own experiences.

Women who come to a forum like this (love and sex) are exceptions, rather than the rule. I'm not saying anything is better, nor worse. Just different.

 

Now I must find links to prove my point, sometimes it's all about where we want to read. I still stand by my theory that men are hornier at a different time in life then women and visa versa.
It's always been known men are hornier in their younger years teens into their 20s (and some longer) then they are in their later years. Women are not so then but are in their later years. Yes it varies some with each but that's my bit.

I like sex a lot, and I like a lot of sex, probably more than most of my female friends. But as much time as I think about sex, I think it pales in comparison to the average guy. Guys are so visual that the sight of nearly anything triggers some sort of sexual response. Seriously!

A girls slip on a pair of yoga tights to run errands, a guy gets horny. A girl wears heels, a guy gets horny. Lipstick, jeans, peak of a girls underwear, thought of no underwear, cleavage, perky nipples, the list goes on. Also, a lot of guys have a a lot of weird fetishes that girls don't have - many of them documented on this forum - and it seems to me that some guys are considerably preoccupied with their fetishes.

Since female sexual response is not visually stimulated to the same extent, I don't think we are bombarded with stimulation the same ways guys are.

Once in bed, however, I'm just as horny as any guy I have known.

 

I don't think we will ever know as a woman's horniness is usually not visible, whereas a man's is.

I have to admit unless I say so a guy can't tell or it would have to be my actions he notices. Most men I have been with, you know and they don't have to say much. Also most men I have been with have been the aggressor when it comes to wanting it. I am always ready for it tho,,, not the kind with a headache to avoid it.

 

The word "horny" is very male oriented. Yes, men are hornier than women, by about 6 inches according to most surveys.

What do men contribute to sexual media? Porn, mostly only aimed at a male audience. Why haven't guys pulled their heads out of there asses and started trying to sell it to women too? Cause they don't think women are obsessed with sex.

 

And yes we are very sexual. Guys I have been with say it's awesome but they do find they gotta keep up some. My man is definitely a cuddler, what happens is if he puts too many hands on me it turns into sex. He even joked once that we have to cuddle with our hands tied. That got him a slap on the ass and turned into sex.
Hell, I even get cranky if it's too many days that we don't fool around and I know it's not his fault, he works a lot harder then I do and can pull in a lot of money to show for it and some days he can be tired, come here and pass out. That's when I tend to play on here more,,, not horny? My ass!

All of that is mental foreplay. Woman are all over the place when thing about sex, men are more direct hence Porn.
I think today's women are more sexual so more horniness is occurring. Who really knows who's more horny. I know I think of sex a lot. I can't drive across town without thinking "I'd fuck her" numurous times and my little town isn't that big.

 

Is it mental foreplay? Do men actually get sex by watching porn? No, it's a mental stimulant that can aid in masturbation. Do women get actual sex from erotic entertainment? No, it's a mental stimulant to aid in masturbation.

If you look at fan fiction, much of what women are writing skips over the romance and jumps straight to the deed. Sure there are longer, more plot driven works, and those that include sex as realistic part of life, but many are one chapter of steaming hot sex. Some are even multiple chapters of steaming hot sex with occasional plot.

And what would I like to see more in porn? A woman who is not caked so much in makeup that she looks like a drag queen with a man that looks like he wants to be there and is not just a prop. It's my biggest motivator when choosing porn to watch. Sure, sometimes it's fun for us to get painted up like a hooker, but mostly I see all that makeup and wonder how she keeps it from melting, then as an after thought wonder why the guy seems less then thrilled to be in her. Then I wonder if she's just faking.

Maybe I set the bar to high, but it would be nice to see better quality acting in porn.

 

Women aren't obsessed by porn, they're obsessed by males. If women bought porn like men, we'd have more girl mags than guy ones. Their isn't any lack, there's low demand. Women's version of porn is tom selleck in shorts or bieber in a speedo.
