Are Irish liked in Australia?

I’m irish and looking to go to Australia. My friend moved there and I can’t wait to see her. Will I be liked there

The Irish are fine. I like Irish girls and their accents. It's a generational thing really and a lot of the older Australians had the Irish come and take their jobs just as many in my generation have had Arabs and Indians come and take their jobs. I like Irish girls.

I think the OP sincerely wanted to know if Irish are liked in Australia, and I feel they deserve a good answer. I don't think many in the thread took the question seriously.

Good and bad in each country,and it will depend where you go as well.

Are you serious, most Australians have Irish, Scottish or English ancestors, you'll feel right at home here.

 

Depends on whether they can understand what you say. They are a little isolated.
