    I’m irish and looking to go to Australia. My friend moved there and I can’t wait to see her. Will I be liked there

    The Irish are fine. I like Irish girls and their accents. It's a generational thing really and a lot of the older Australians had the Irish come and take their jobs just as many in my generation have had Arabs and Indians come and take their jobs. I like Irish girls.

    I think the OP sincerely wanted to know if Irish are liked in Australia, and I feel they deserve a good answer. I don't think many in the thread took the question seriously.

    I'm going to do my best to answer this, as soon as I get to Australia ...

    Are you serious, most Australians have Irish, Scottish or English ancestors, you'll feel right at home here.
