If you are camping in bear country, or any other large predator locality; would they be drawn to the smell of smoke? My friend and I camp a lot and we're just curious. There was no info available on Google.
I don't believe so. If anything, I'd think the smell of smoke would keep them away. Animals tend to want to avoid smoke for fear of fire. I've gone camping with large groups of people where there would be 10-20 different people smoking weed, and never saw a single bear. We took all the other precautions ("bear-proof" trash containers, locking food up in cars, etc.)
