I have always liked the Dutch selection... maybe it's the orange, or maybe it's Paaaattttriiiiiccccckk Kluivert!
Those are the oldies that are out now. The younger generation is ready to kick some serious ball. They suck though, you better start supporting the Luxemburg team.
You must realize that I haven't seen any football since like...2004 I did forget God himself though...
i remember this thread from a few months ago i ate dinner alone this evening people stared like i was socially retarded. is there anything really that wrong with eating alone? i enjoyed being by myself, without people i know... the people i know were getting on my nerves.
There does seem to be a weird social faux pas about it in the US. I have no idea why. If I'm hungry in public and by myself, I'm not going to solicit company just to eat. I can manage.
Honestly,i prefer to eat with other persons than eat alone. I think its better because i can talk,or just because its boring for me wait or eat alone. Anyway,i have no problem with people who prefer to eat by themselves, each person act the way its feels more comfortable. If i can choose,i prefer to eat with somebody, but if i cant,i wont stay hungry just because theres no friend to stay there next to me. lol
i'm sort of just the opposite. it is only when i'm completely alone that i feel i can really experince anything other then the people i'm with and being with them. and for me, THAT is the real downer! so i love exploring places to eat, when i get the chance, which i haven't had for ages, of doing so by myself. i also love cooking and eating entirely alone by myself. for that matter i enjoy most of the things i enjoy entirely alone by myself. the only partial exception, and it is only a partial exception, is when what i am doing is with people who share a common intrest in it. but even then, being with them is a distraction from absorbing the full measure of the experience. =^^= .../\...
i never minded doing ANYTHING alone. i'd go to the movies, go shopping, go out to eat. it never bothered me at all. no i'm never alone and i really wish i was.
It's even worse if you're a woman. People assume you've tried and tried and just can't find anyone. .
If I eat alone in a restaurant, it's almost always breakfast, in which case I usually bring a book or something to read while I wait for my food. I also like to drink alone. Now that's a good time. arty:
This makes me want to go to a fancy restaurant by myself. Get all dressed up and all that. "Party of one".
