Are Americans Racist?

In all the years since Johnson, the GOP has offered black Americans absolutely nothing except the theory of trickle down economics. They tried that once before. Some of them got to work inside some really nice Southern plantation houses. They didn't like it.

 

The GOP could have been offering things to citizens and taxpayers. Last time I checked Blacks were both.

 

So... why didn't they? I think they wrote off this group.

Tax cuts don't mean much to people who don't make enough to pay income taxes.

 

Group? Citizens are individuals. We are not subjects, and never have been.

None of it means the same thing to practically anybody. Statutes are good for building codes and honesty in combination with respect for the real things we share instead of focus on the abstractions we don't abrogates the need for government. No one feels that government showed be allowed into the sanctum a persons inner life and the idea that goverment will protect that space for you is ludicris. Everyone should be convicted for everything that transpires and sentenced to personal recognisence forever. If you can't get along in your own house you can't get along with the world. Government should be a technical functionary for the people not a system that requires our devotion to it. Democracy itself is not progressive enough to deal with the very gritty problems we all personally face in life.

Of course americans are not racist. That's why over the past decades such hard work was devoted to eliminating the vast black ghettoes here in

in our cities. Ridiculous question as anyone can see, as black americans are now fully employed and enjoying the fruits of their labor. Our concern was truly touching and certainly proved that we care. Ain't life grand?

 

No that's not true. There was a major shift during the Nixon presidency. Charles Colson came up with the idea and convinced Nixon to court the southern white Democrats who had been very upset with Johnson's "Great Society Programs" and the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Colson convinced Nixon and Kissinger to go and appeal to the southern white conservatives by way of evangelical christianity. The GOP launched The Silent Majority and the FAMILY VALUES idea right away; but, not fast enough to prevent Carter from taking the White House. It was in full force with Billy Grahm on board by the time Reagan ran and Henry Kissinger with Rush Lame Butt set up Clear Channel Radio, which became CLEAR CHANNEL DOT COM when computers became common. Today these Clear Channel stations have non-stop Republican bad-mouthing of Liberal Democrats, Muslims, Blacks, and others.

 

Okay, tell us.

 

His followers are a group that the GOP can now take for granted, every election. It wouldn't matter if they put Yosemite Sam on the ticket.

 

Regardless of anyones color, the rich don't need any more suck-asses. They're doing quite well, thank you.

I know lots of Republicans who collect Social Security, Medicare, VA Medical Benefits, VA VASH HOUSING, and use their government check to fill up their four wheel drive TOYOTA truck to go down and buy weed. Republican thinking is the politics of exclusion. Republicans want to exclude all others from American opportunity and prosperity so they can have it all for themselves, with very little dripping down to any remaining excluded races.

 

It is now.

 

It is truly amazing that the populace--the voters which constitute a HUGE --HUGE majority in this country, even allow these people to continue to have the power that they have. The thought of actually SHARING in the goodness that flows from full employment, home ownership, a pleasant
middle class life--just seems to irritate the shit out of them. I save my favorite epithet for just those types--SUCK-ASS MOTHERFUCKERS!!
