I find the OP question rather humourous considering the much more recent treatment of people in Asia and Africa by the British, French and other European nations. So the answer to the OP question is a resounding 'NO'.

It now appears that this threads topic has now changed to questioning income inequality based on race.
Statistically speaking, it is a fact that collectively Blacks seem to fare worse than Hispanics, Whites, and Asians. The reasons are very many and in no way indicative of their abilities versus that of persons of any other skin colour. An employer who had ten job openings and ten prospective employees from each race, if we are considering skin colour to indicate ones race, would be rather stupid to hire the 10 Asians basing his/her decision on statistics alone.

If the premise is made universally accepted that Blacks are seen as inferior by whites and/or other races that only serves as an excuse to not exert as much effort to succeed in learning, which only perpetuates and worsens the problem falsely employing use of the word 'racism' as the root cause.

Architects and Engineers and Physicists and Doctors will always be paid more than other less exclusive professions. It is not the fault of white people or Asians that black people and Mexican people are much less inclined toward the "professions". In every country around the world they perform poorly on intelligence tests. These intelligence tests are direct indictments on their ability to excel in the highest paying jobs.

It's the whole reason Europe and to a lesser extent the Orient rocketed away technologically in the first place.

Considering the achievements of Aliko Dangote, Barack Obama, Bill Cosby, Clarence Thomas, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rics, Debra Lee, Dr. Ben Carson, Dr. Dorothy Wills, Dr. Mae Jamison, Dr. Patricia Bath, Emmett Chappelle, Isabel dos Santos, Ken Chenault, Kofi Annan, Mark Dean, Mike Adenuga, Neil Degrasse Tieson, Oprah Winfrey, Philip Emeagwali, Richard Parsons, Robert Johnson, and Ursula Burns, to name just a very few, it would appear that the individual effort put forth has much more to do with the results produced than does ones skin colour.

Generally speaking, statistics only provide us with something to complain about without giving much, if any, attention to the root causes.

All these people were outperformed by literally... millions... of Asians on SATs and ACTs. When it comes to the professions like computer programming and engineering and scientific pursuits, the people on this list and dark skinned people like them are in the extreeeeeeme minority. Yes there are exceptions which prove the rule, with hundreds of millions of possibilities, you will find enough exceptions to fill a list. The fact that people of African ancestry have far more twins than the other races, and crawl faster and walk faster and put on clothes faster and hit puberty faster is beyond dispute. To what do you attribute these facts?

I attribute your statement to bullshit.
The number of races observed expanded to the 1930s and 1950s, and eventually anthropologists concluded that there were no discrete races. Twentieth and 21st century biomedical researchers have discovered this same feature when evaluating human variation at the level of alleles and allele frequencies. Nature has not created four or five distinct, nonoverlapping genetic groups of people.

ever see the illustration of future man? long fingers for computer keyboards and pushing buttons....a big head as that is where all of the activity is taking place and smaller bodies due to not using them so much anymore. I will see if I can find the book where the photo is and take a photo of it for you to see....quite funny, actually.

That would be it as there is no research to substantiate the claim.

Hear are some other claims about the propensity to have twin births to put it into a more unbiased light,
As you age, your chance of conceiving twins increases.
If you have twins in your family your chances go up.
With each pregnancy, the odds that you'll have twins go up.
If you have had twins before you are twice as likely to have them again.
Recent studies have shown that obese women are twice as likely to give birth to fraternal twins as those who aren't obese.
The same studies found that taller women tend to face higher odds of having fraternal twins.

It is very difficult not to accept that we all have prejudices - and just as much to live and deal with them

  12. What is your point nerdantherthal? Are you saying anything about how we should treat black people? Are we supposed to now treat them like they are all stupid, despite the fact that they aren't? It's all about how you treat people. Black people aren't secretly monkey men that are going to get out of control if we don't keep a watchful eye.

I was just gonna say! We'll be looking like the aliens we picture in our minds pretty soon at this rate. haha

I still live by my motto "Treat everyone and anyone as a brother or sister or fellow human being until they give you a reason not to." Regardless of color or creed.

Are you fond of jumping to inane conclusions? Are we supposed to take your wild leaps of logic seriously? Is this one too many questions?

The point of all these facts, is to understand the severe limitations of affirmative action. We should not expect the intellectual gaps that exist between the averages of races to even out over a few generations. Best case scenario it will take many, many generations. Worst case scenario, black, hood culture will continue to take them in a negative direction and the gap will grow ever wider as it appears to be doing. Most people attribute the income disparity between whites and blacks to racism. Why do Asians do even better than whites? The facts are staring us in the face, screaming at us while we close our eyes and plug our ears. If blacks continue to commit 55% of violent crimes despite being 13% of the population we should acknowledge a problem. If black people are 9 times more likely to commit a robbery than anyone else, we should not be forced to remain silent about it. DO NOT EXPECT BLACK PEOPLE TO EARN AS MUCH AS WHITE PEOPLE UNTIL THEY CAN PERFORM INTELLECTUALLY DEMANDING JOBS AT THE SAME LEVEL. Give me the argument that justifies your belief that black people will achieve equal intelligence in 100 years or less.

This is the kind of mob mentality we should be wary of.

I don't think all Americans are racist

  18. Yes.

Which is? Why are black people committing so much crime? What are you trying to say?

My argument is that it's racist to judge a race of people based on select individuals. There are black doctors, lawyers, race car drivers, politicians, and scientists. There are many white people with IQs below 100. So black people have already achieved equal intelligence. What you're talking about has less to do with intelligence and more to do with mentality. If white people had been drug out of their country as slaves and then been treated like 2nd class citizens throughout most of their history, who's to say we wouldn't be just as jaded and violent?

People like you are treating all black people as though they're imbeciles. And while it is stupid to take your kind seriously, that's the way people work. We take each other seriously and when we're insulted we wonder, "Is there something wrong with me?" And when you're treated as poorly as black people are in this country, you often give up trying before you've even had a chance. I have a radical idea for how we can get black people to achieve better -- start treating them as though they're as human as whites!

There is overlap no doubt. 14% of black people have an IQ over 100, but the average is 85. Judge each individual on their own merits, I agree 100%, but that's not what we do with affirmative action. The slave argument is bullshit. South America and the Middle East enslaved many, many more Africans than North America, they just worked them to death in short order and there are barely any survivors left of that lineage to bitch about their intelligence deficiencies. Where do these deficiencies stem from? Did Africans capture their own people and sell them to Jewish slave ships ~ the best doctors and inventors and mathematicians and teachers and sailors and intellectuals from Africa and proceed to dumb them down over several generations in their new homelands? At what point in their history have people of Sub Saharan African ancestry contributed ANY ADVANCEMENT of any kind?

People with Congoid skulls in industrialized nations are far richer in material goods than the people who sold them into slavery could hope for. If you have the means to get the fuck out of Africa, you're wise to do so. The current anger and violence we see from black people in hoods is not that they're poor on the global spectrum, it's that they're poor compared to their white and Asian neighbors, and so many are not intellectually equipped to examine the income disparity rationally and come to a reasonable conclusion. They lack the reason to know they should reason.

  20. Well, people of Sub Saharan African ancestry are now doctors and scientists all over the world. I'd say that's advancement, not only for their fields but for our understanding of race. It's not as though black people are a rotten race, like some alien species come to invade the planet, and certain of them are just like Chewbaccas, helpful servants of questionable intelligence defected to our side. Silly as that scenario is, that's what some white people imagine Africans to be.

It's much more likely that we're too similar to question whether one of us is human and the other isn't any longer. All these points about black people making less money and black people being more violent are moot. If there was a real difference between blacks and whites, it wouldn't change the fact that we're much too similar to not be friends. And friends don't oppress each other.

If we work together and be friends there's no telling what we can accomplish. And I think this diversity on earth is beautiful, nay, fantastic. I have a black friend who works in machining and he does it well -- something I have no aptitude for. Am I supposed to look upon him as an inferior? Is he just an unreasoning servant of the white race? No, he knows he is a black man. He knows racism is out there. He knows people fight about it every day, yet he continues forward, making a skilled and honest contribution to society. And I'll be damned if I'm going to let anybody tell people he should be despised and/or distrusted based on his race. We are friends and it is beautiful.
