Most dead fans already know about this one, but anyone wanting to find out more about the dead should definately check it out. Cornell shows '77 are a good place to start: http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=12278 My favorite: http://www.archive.org/audio/etree-details-db.php?id=14279 Best Tennessee Jed I've heard yet. Excellent sound quality, Mama Tried, Mission in the Rain, incredible!
I like www.gdlive.com better.... My two favorite recordings are from 11-3-65 and 12-1-66, I believe they are on both sites.
I like that site too. I just see the archive.org site as becoming the largest, most comprehensive collection out there. I love those shows. You really see that it was the gd, more than anyone else who began and defined the early sf sound, even though they had moved so far away from it into the outer reaches of the cosmos by 67-68. So much Pig!
