The only reason why the Israeli army has to go into the West Bank and Gaza Strip at all is to try to catch the terrorists who are carrying out such atrocities. And contrary to what you claim the IDF does not indiscriminatly attack civilians. Nearly all dead and injured Palestinian civilians have been killed in crossfire between Palestinian terrorists and the IDF. Why because these terrorists hide in densely built up areas so that they can launch ambushes and lay booby traps designed to kill IDF soldiers. In Jenin for example Palestinian deaths there were directly the result of terrorists drawing the IDF into dense urban areas full of booby traps. Thats why the IDF had to go in guns blazing and blast buildings out of the way of tanks to avoid booby traps and ambushes. As has been said before if the Palestinians laid down their arms there would be peace. If Israel laid down its arms there would be no Israel!

Let me clarify the situation in the Middle East! Only the homes of terrorists are bulldozed and only then in response to terrorist attacks on Israel. The IDF do not machine gun civilians, sometimes they shoot at rioters armed with stones, but not with machine guns with rifles. And even if a Palestinian has had family members killed in the war that does not justify them strapping explosives to themselves and going and trying to kill and maim as many Israeli civilians as possible! The only reason why the Israeli army are in the occupied terrortries is because of Palestinian terrorism against Israel! If the terrorists gave up their war, the IDF would withdraw from all of the occupied terrortries!

Let me enlighten you. Israel demolished those houses because it believed they were being used as a terrorist base! OK it made a mistake but it acted in good faith. Yes sometimes children throwing stones at tanks are shot at! Why? because stones can cause soldiers serious injury and how else are the soldiers to disperse rioters, rioters who often seek to draw troops into ambushes in which they will be killed. And you have to be pretty stupid to throw rocks at armed soldiers and not expect them to get angry. I know I certainly would! Why do the Palestinians hate the Israelis so much? One reason is they are indoctrinated to hate them by their elders, religous leaders, and the PLO. It is similar to sectarian hatred in Northern Ireland where the young are indoctrinated by adults to hate the other side from an early age and so a cycle of violence keeps going.

No I don't think that shooting children is OK. I just explained why it sometimes happens. Consider this you are on patrol with your fellow soldiers with a loaded rifle, your only means of defence and a large crowd of a hundred plus start chucking stones and rocks at your patrol. You must now fear serious injury and rightly be afraid both for yourself and your platoon. So you fire a warning shot, the crowd retreats but then regroups further down the road. You wait a minute before you follow, are they trying to draw your patoon into an armed ambush you wonder. You consult your colleagues, you all agree not to advance incase of an ambush but decide to fire warning shots above the heads of the rioters. During this gunfire some of the rioters are accidently hit. Do you consider yourself a murderer? Remember they were probably trying to draw your unit into an ambush inwhich you and your colleagues would be killed! Its a war situation wake up!
