i usually don't realize it's april 1st until april 2nd.

 

I just refuse to read Facebook even lol. Always some race driver retiring or a Broncos player getting traded.

 

Patriots QB Tom Brady tweeted out this morning that he’s retiring from football only to later retract his tweet with a big “April Fools”

 

I don't understand the point of this holiday. Is it just a day for Americans to celebrate being full of shit or does it have roots elsewhere?

When you don't socialise much during the week and you don't watch TV or use social media too much, does April fools even exist?

 

It's a thing here as well, but not sure where it originated. We have adopted plenty of american cultural things
