There's no doubt one of the reasons I go to nude beaches and clubs is to admire the beauty - of the beach yes but of course the other attendees too. Go to any art gallery and you'll see paintings, sculptures maybe even photography of women and girls, I would guess they are the most common subject especially if we categorize them as nature which is surely accurate as it is the origin of the term naturist.
It may even be my number one reason. I love being naked myself but if I had to choose between being naked at a beach where everyone else is clothed or the other way around I really can't say which I'd prefer - my answer would likely change from day to day.
Anyway I know the general etiquette is not to stare but I just don't think people are really being honest about their behavior or motivation so thought I'd start a discussion around it. How much does it factor into your decision to be a nudist. Do you hope to see beautiful bodies when you go to the beach? I know I do, am I just a gawker or a pervert?

I go to nudist beaches to sunbathe nude. I don't stare at other people, but I do enjoy people watching in general and will admire others sunbathing nude. If people are staring at me, or whoever I am with, then so be it, I really don't mind and am usually oblivious to it anyway.

I like the freedom of being outdoors nude. Seeing others that way is a bonus. Staring and gawking is rude and that behavior should be avoided by all parties.

Thinking maybe it’s natural to Check out or admire people be fully/partly or nude. Unfortunately maybe there will always be a few gawkers especially at a beach. Personally find nude beaches a great way to relax body & mind and that’s the vibe I get from fellow nude bathers. So no don’t think your a gawker or pervert for being honest with yourself and deciding if you find someone attractive if they are fully dressed or naked...

I's why we go to nude beaches and resorts - to see other people naked and to show them our bodies too.

For my wife and I, it’s simple. We just love being nude. You can gawk, stare all you want from afar, but better yet, come on over and strike up a conversation.

I love being naked where many other people are also naked. And to see a beautiful lady is of course a bonus, but I would never stare, that would be rude.

I think we have to make a distinction between quickly looking, and gawking. Even when you are talking with someone and their whole body is in view, you can tell the intention.

I like hiking off the trail in the nude or in a skimpy nightie. I've yet to be caught, but I don't mind people looking, staring, and I'd love for someone to just casually approach me and talk as though nothings up. And I am in no way against admirers at nude beaches.

Glancing occasionally is OK but gawking or staring is not.
