You can get higher without drugs. Like fun you can. I've been sober for over 18 years, and I can get more high with drugs.

No typo my friend. The title says "apparently", so some people say that you can. But I think they are barking mad.

 

there is truth in the statement that you think is barking mad. iv tasted it....but sadly i think the truth is that most of us will never fully actualize it.

 

So how does one get high without drugs?

there is a theory that meditation can unlock a chemical in your brain very similar to lsd or psilocybin, i forget which. monks who meditate are able to master this technique and access it. i have experieced this before. i meditated for many hours, my hands started to go numb, then something just clicked in my head. i got up and started walking around. i thought i was in a temple. the closest thing i could compare it to was a mushroom trip. it scarred me at first because i didnt know how i could be tripping without drugs. i have never meditated that deeply since then (by choice). it sort of caught me off gaurd and i am hesitant to do it again. but anyways, ive done it, it is possible. i know there are articles about it out there if you look for them.

 

its definitely all in your perception, i've been sober awhile too but at certain times i'll get what I call a flashback where I feel baked out of my mind. Usually it happens in extream settings like after I hike up a mountain.

 

Probably a runner's high, which is very real and very cool.

raw food, kundalini yoga, meditation, astral travel, sweat lodge, sensory deprevation....ect. the list could go on and on. these things have worked for me though.

 

raw food? yo i got mad sick from some under cooked chicken. i didnt feel high. chiles are a good drug though. get you some habaneros, eat them, and you'll have fun. make sure you chew them up real good though.
