How can you deny that Dj Shadow is not great, I can tell you one thing you and me got totaly different tastes in music that's for sure!!

 

thats pretty much all that needs to be said when discussing aphex twin. its clearly not music thats easily digested at the first listen but once you understand whats goin on

its bloody great!

I haven't found alot of todays music that really grabs me. I hear a song now and then that I'll like, but have no idea who the artist is.

 

I'd prefer a thread about the worst band to ever breathe air, Crosby Stills and Nash.

And yes, DJ Shadow is fucking awesome, too. This is ingenius work that is a hell of a lot more complex and abstract than this uninspiring, E-rolling, club-kid drum & bass shit.

and rat, i asked for your opinion on aphex twin.... not to be put down by like 10 people and told i know nothing about electronic music and i have no taste and all kinds of stuff. that is just childish.

i still think aphex twin is seriously over-rated but it seems to be the only way to go on here to like him. sickening to me.

Yeah man Photek is cool. Must check out some black dog stuff. Another of my favourites I forgot to put on the list is Luke Vibert, I'd recommend his album Yoseph to all, proper 21st century acid music.
