For years, I would explore with my then husband, who has the gift for gab magnified in psychedelics. I thought I just couldn't get a word in edgewise, but recent exploration has shown me, I don't have any inclination to talk under influence. Speaking sort of brings me out, and I lose the headspace. I'm perfectly happy with this, aside from one night where being able to call the transit agency and get a route that was actually running at that hour (voice prompts only) would have been quite nice. But I'm wondering how common this really is. I read comments, in passing, and it is listed as a possibility. So I ask you, who can just chill and stfu on shrooms and similar psychedelics?
It varies for me, but I'd say I tend to be less talkative on Shrooms compared to most other psychedelics. I generally find them quite relaxing and like to just take it all in. Although I am prone to giggling fits on them and sometimes I have had certain trips where I'm somewhat talkative.
It varies for me as well. For me, typically, I can be social on Phenethylamines. Not that I prefer talking over silence on them, I enjoy the conversation as well as the silent introspection. With tryptamines though, I have a tendency to stay in my head more. I dont talk as much nor do I really like to
broinlaw likes to turn up the radio so you need to shout over it to speak ..it muddles everything, to the point of confusion. alone I can just talk to myself or interboob people..
Huh. Typing was...um... Unproductive. And that was before autocorrect/ auto foul up. Writing a note was ok. I'm guessing the visual acuity issue was in play. Tiny phone keyboard versus pen and paper. I could see the paper.
Depends on the trip for me. I haven't ingested in a long while so I don't know about now, but usually my default is to enjoy the quiet - unless something comes up in the group and we sit on a similar level, then you know, it's just a boundless synthesis of imagination filled with giggles and awe
