anything anyone has ever imagined, COULD exist.

everything no one has ever imagined, is more likely to. if only because there is infinately more of it.

Even in an infinite universe some things are just infinitely impossible.

    "there you go man,
keep as cool as you can,
face piles of trials with smiles,
it riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave,
    and keep on, thinking free"

Parallel universe theory: Each action and choice we make in real-time affects and changes the world around us to some degree, large or small depending on your sphere of influence.By making choices we create to some extent a new world for ourselves, here and now.It can be very practical,or you may like to see it as cosmic ripples if you believe in that kind of thing.Personally I am agnostic on that kind of stuff, but I have an open mind.Once you realise this you see the importance of your actions and choices and where they can take you,and also your interactions with fellow people. This can be liberating because we can realise that, yes,of course,I can't literally magic myself into my ideal universe - but I can directly affect my life-course for the better, and to some small extent change the world I live in.Kind of like the butterfly effect. It's like several converging timelines, each of which,if followed, will technically take you into a different world, because you made this or that decision.

You mean imagining existence is not the same as the actually existing, doesn't mean we lack imagination.

All existence is imagined, because we interpret reality through the sensory organ of the brain/mind.That is not to say there isn't a corporeal reality out there, just that this primary data is only realised through a virtual medium of imagined consciousness. Our experience is "Virtual" because we cannot experience this being which is extraneous to the the physical stuff of the universe,we can only sense it through our particular sensorium.Insects and various other animals experience things differently to us,as we know,so how can we say there is only one reality to be imagined? Reality is only "virtually" there for us,we cannot have a more direct access to some presupposed absolute, except perhaps through transcendental third eye meditation, where we can, with effort, experience "No thought" and pure cosmic bliss and oneness, timelessness and release from our material body.Superimposed upon our primary awareness of mundane reality,we then have our "imaginary world",which includes our fantasies, projections, ego, and day to day worries. To get closer to a sense of "pure existence",we would have to devolve from language, culture, intellectualism and society and attune to the the earth energies that have become atrophied through electricity, noise, incessant meaningless babble and death culture.

that is one thing. and correct on both counts. by correct i mean of course that i agree. not that i am some kind of god or anything. but i agree because it agrees with what i am able to observe.

in a sense this is also true, or partially true, because it is only within our own minds that we experience our experiencing. but just because everything external to ourselves is kind of like the classic black box, doesn't mean it lacks existence outside of our experiencing of it.

there is a consistancy to what is outside of ourselves, without which we could only stumble through existence by shere chance. and we don't.

instead we are able to explore and learn from the infinite diversity that is outside of and beyond our selves.

we could not explore a forest nor drive a car, if there were no external reality, consistant with ITS self, beyond and external to our own.

if that doesn't convince you there is anything external to ourselves, you can still stub your toe in the middle of the night, regardless of what you believe or what you don't, about what there might or might not be, external to ourselves, and our internal experiencing of it.

my point rather, is that whatever does exist, owes nothing, to what we think we know about it.
what we can observe is one thing. what we can extrapolate from what we can observe, and test that extrapolation, and find it consistantly reliable or not. that is all the one kind of thing, that is within the pervue of science.

but even that, does not limit what can exist. only what we are able to actually know.

but when we speculate about things that are beyond that, completely nonphysical things, then what people say about them, or write in books or carve in stone or what have you, these completely nonphysical things, whatever may exist of them, owe nothing to what even the greatest minds may have believed or thought.

Not just some things, but most things. I can name a near infinite amount of things I can not do, and that is just me.

what is not possible for one person to do, and what is not possible, are very different and almost completely unrelated things.

I understand where you come from, but I don't think they are not that unrelated. Possibilities aren't universal, they are also personal.
