train made entirely of chocolate has set a new Guinness World Record as the longest chocolate structure in the world. The sculpture, on display at the busy Brussels South station, is 112-feet (34.05 meters) long and weighs over 2,755 pounds (1250 kilos). Maltese chocolate artist Andrew Farrugia spent over 700 hours constructing the masterpiece. He said he came up with the idea of the train last year cho2after visiting the Belgian Chocolate Festival in Bruge: “I had this idea for a while, and I said what do you think if we do this realization of a long chocolate train, you know, because a train you can make it as long as you like.
The guy in front of me at Vons was a hefty individual, was buying maybe 20 or so candy bars, and I couldn't help but think he was going to end up diabetic! Poor guy. I was buying salad dressing.
Nice! Hershey's is good. They make a ton of different things. I like "Hershey's Kisses". When I was a child my parents put them out on holidays for us all to eat. Easter and Christmas usually had those, or egg shaped Hershey's for Easter. I can't remember now! Lol. anyway... They aren't gourmet though. Glad you like them anyway!
I first learned about Hershey's kisses from a Canadian friend. She said please bring some back for me. I was then intrigued. lol
Those brilliant little morsels really pack on the pounds though. Before you know it you've eaten the whole bowl!
Some of these chocolates looks mighty good. I like the simple things in life. Like the No Bake cookies, made with coco oatmeal sugar and milk cooked in a pan.
I am diabetic(type2) but very dark chocolate of more than 80% cocoa has very little sugar and loads of fiber so it’s one of a few permitted treats. Does have high fat tho.
