Anyone watching The Rain? (Netflix)

Saw the trailer and it looks interesting, but not entirely original. Anyone watching this series, and is it good?

 

Havent heard of it but cobra kai is pretty good if u are a fan of the old karate kid movies

 

The only recent show I've watched on Netflix was the Ranch sorry.

 

I heard cobra kai is the shit.

 

Jane never needs Netflix to watch the rain.
But it may be handy here in London today..... 28 degrees (82 F). I keep having to phone to check that she has not melted.

 

This is about some type of poisonous rain that starts killing people.

 

Oh for some reason I thought it was about Prince lol..like Purple Rain

Reminds me of this horror book I read years ago where an alien life form seeds the rain on Earth so it starts growing plant life that the aliens need to survive and essentially destroyed earth as we know it

But it took an odd religious turn at the end and ended up being about the rapture. Didnt see that one coming

was it by dean koontz? if so, i think i read it too. i remember it being pretty good, other than the first chapter which too forever to get through because of all the koontzy unnecessary details and pointless metaphors.

i generally consider prince music to be poisonous and to potentially start killing people.

 

Yeah that was the one. It was pretty good, it actually really creeped me out in a few places

 

Yeah, no...once I finish Game of Thrones, I'm going to need something warm and cuddly.

 

I haven't started watching it, yet.

lol GoT isn't a feel good show, 'tis true. But, it's still my fave.

 

Im really liking it. We're a few episodes into season 5. Only started it like last week LOL

Honestly? As much as I love Brianne, Arya, and Tyrian...Tyrion? (The imp) probably Samwell Tarley

 

Interesting! I don't hear him come up much, as far as fan favorites go. He is a great character, understated. I really enjoy the Lannisters. Cersei and Jaime - such hot messes. lol

I'd say one of my personal favorites is Theon Greyjoy.
