I've been using Tumblr for a year or so now. I always made fun of people for using it but I've grown to quite like it. I love posting pictures and turning my blog into a big gypsy-ish scrap book. I very rarely post text or political, usually keep it as aesthetically pleasing as I can. What do you use it for, if you use it at all?
Well I would be a victim of that I suppose. I made fun of what I would be having fun doing later, ha ha. Its a neat service. I like it. Its a cool way to express what you want to see as you want to see it, or hear it.
Tumblr is loaded with hypersensitive people I noticed. I can't stand the culture, but it's good for porn sometimes
I've laughed at some tumblr posts harder than any comedy movie I've ever seen. (Other than the boat scene in Caddyshack, of course.) I just think its all about how you decide to use it.
I did not mind looking at that first page. Would hate to waste time on a regular basis on tumblr (as I do that already on here ) but if every page looked like this I probably would.
I like how it's a totally open community, just about anything goes. Almost nothing is prohibited or censored. This makes for some seriously fascinating blogs to follow, from sex workers and drug addicts, to hippies, people living off of the grid, people in poverty etc. It's a cool, unadulterated snapshot into so many different types of lives.
i think i still have a care-2 account i haven't logged into in years. that's the closest thing i can think of, to any kind of social media. that and here. i'm just not, have, any point to them.
