    MOI? Rowdy?

My dear fellow,I am the EPITOME of the English Gentleman dont'cha know.

I admit on occasion I have been known to deliver a sternly worded reprimand toward errant types of low character-but on the whole I make Mormon preachers seem violent.

Incidentally,I reciprocate the compliment-your posts are always interesting and amusing.

Keep up the excellent quality of post Shiv-you may be the next Dan Brown!

    Loving the twin front discs,Shiv.

If you have to emergency stop,it's reassuring to do it without the forks 'walking'.
Tho' that front end looks suspiciously like a Kwak item??

[btw-how do I post a pic of my bike? It's only right I give you chaps something to laugh at]

I started out with 2 wheels when I outgrew my Tonka trucks. When I was little Tonka trucks were MADE OF STEEL and about 15-17 inches long and that was the pickup trucks. A road grader was probably 18-20 or more inches long.

My 1st motorbike was what was called a MINI-BIKE. It had a 3HP Briggs and Stratton 4 cycle engine that ran on straight gas. It probably topped out at 15MPH......till we disconnected the 'Governor'. The Governor is a speed retarder. A safety feature...until you disconnect it. First thing I did without the Gov hooked up was crash into a rather deep ditch. Lucky for me it was summer and the ditch was empty.

My next bike was a 1970 or 71 Honda Trail 90. Mine was red. It had a 90cc motor, 4 cycle, 4 speed automatic. It had a 2+gallon gas tank, a tie down rack for gear and what not on the rear fender. I gots to tell you people it was a hoot driving it on gravel roads and trails in the woods.

After that I never bought another motorbike. I've had 3 or 4 cars but since around 1980 I've tooled around in trucks. Why?? I LIKE TRUCKS.:sunny:
About the coolest truck I ever had was a 1975 Ford Bronco with the 302 V8. Right now I got a '04 Ford Ranger and an older Dodge 4x4....no NOT a POWER WAGON....sadly enuf. If money was NO OBJECT my preferences would lean towards the old 1960s thru 80s LAND ROVERS, UNIMOGS, and PINZGAUERS...a German truck stout like the UNIMOG and similar in appearance to WWII German Half tracks. I would also have several Ferrets (a Scout car,4x4, used in recon and such) a couple Allied Half tracks and a Stuart Light Tank or two and maybe a Sherman. But since I don't play the Lotto chances of me owning WWII armor are somewhere between slim and none.:(

If I had the bread I would SERIOUSLY CONSIDER buying a midsize bike in the 400-500cc size for running short errands, visiting friends and such like that. My truck does not get 60MPG. Bikes generally get good MPG so I limit my gas usage to what I gotta do. What I really need is a bicycle.:D

7,if you want good mpg get a skateboard-it worked for Marty McFly.

[just avoid any trucks transporting manure]

With you on the Unimog tho.
We use one around the farm for pulling grain trailers.
Excellent machine, with power, good grip and a fair turn of speed.

Have to say, a Vmax is more fun on the twisties though..

Youre looking at the wrong bike! Mine isnt the one with the fire, it's the black V-star in the post below it.

To put up a picture, you just need to create a reply, click on the little paperclip above where you write the text, a window will pop up, you add your picture and thats it!

No one is going to laugh at you good friend, I've heard so much about ol' Kermit that I'm looking forward to seeing him!

Hmm. I think this prob may be because I'm here on the Isle of Man for the TT races so I'm using my mate's laptop while she marshals.
I can't use laptops v well-and THIS one in particular.

1 more try, before I go watch the racing.
