This thread is anything but worthless as it has allowed us to gauge the opinions of a certain demographic on this new fad, and the result is the application is useless.

I tend to disagree. I think twitter will be much bigger than anybody is anticipating.

Why else would CNN have fought SO fucking hard to be the first w/ one million followers? Just sayin', CNN doesn't piss away ad time and ad money just to be in on fads. . .

I like it enough that I actually downloaded an app to make my address capable of making twitter posts. . .

 

I like the name, you can say 'im gonna twit you, twat' things like that. but i dont really care to read peoples' incessant updates about nothing, it sounds boring

 

I've been using it as more of a news outlet. CNN has one, as well as a number of different artists whose work I care to follow. For those things it's neat. For it to be used like another MS or HF, is not so cool.

When people say or write Twitter makes me think of Twatter, and then I giggle...:blush5:...So I call Twitter users Twatters...

We now know how most people feel. I guess since Twitter is a waste, it makes any thread a waste though so I see where you are coming from in that sense.
