Anyone here ever been to Kainchi Dham or Neem Karoli Baba ashrams in India?

Would be a fun trip to take. Or to see Dada's house.

 

I have heard of Neem Karoli Baba and had gone through his teachings. Not been to his ashram though.

I especially liked the incident of Ram Dass offering his pack of LSD drugs to Neem Karoli Baba who swallowed all he had, and to Ram Dass's surprise, was totally unaffected by all the drugs he consumed.

This happened two times, the second to ease Ram Dass's suspicion on whether NKB had actually swallowed it.

Imho, NKB was showing through this incident that the bliss of enlightenment and spirituality is far superior to the superficial and temporary pleasure (followed by misery ) of drugs, and is of a permanent nature as well.
