The Pats looked ugly against Carolina. Too many mental mistakes and penalties.

well, made the playoffs for the 3rd straight year. though i would have liked to be division champs.

but the pats...i dunno. we'll see. i hate putting blame on injuries, but we've lost soo many people so far. damn.

hockey is starting up though...me and my boys are probably gonna go home for a weekend to catch a bruins and a celtics game (hopefully) on the same weekend.

We're back! I still say there should've been an extra game to decide the Sox/Yanks situation, both teams ended with exact records! Fuck it! We went in as wild card last year, let's see if we can do it again. Go Sox!

The Pats are not getting it done. Injuries have affected our play but they are going to just have to make adjustments if they want to see the play-offs. Man, San Diego punished us bad at home. That should be our wake-up call.

I hope the Bruins have a good year but those Celtics... I dunno.

Dude, this sucks! The Bosox don't look hungry, they look like they don't want to win, and they are certainly playing like it.

I guess the saying is true: "What comes around goes around." The sweep is our karmic destiny after what we did to the Yanks and Cards last year. Fuck it! We will always have 2004, the year when the greatest team in sports history did what all thought was impossible. No one can ever take that away from us.

Wow, how ironic. I was actually just coming here to find some people who could tell me what there is to do in Boston around February. I will be in town for a business trip staying at The Boston Park Plaza Hotel & Tower. Usually our reps take us out on the town, however, I've never been up there and I'd like to go someplace nice, not how it was when I went to San Fran last year. I didn't get to see anything. So, tell me some sights to sneak off to see and some places to go at night. I would so greatly appreciate it. Thanks a bunch!

wow, thats a very nice hotel...

well, it depends on what you like to do. do you want to do tourist type stuff or do you wanna try and get away from that?

if you like shopping, you're pretty much surrounded by shopping - you got the Prudential Center Mall and Copley Plaze for indoor shopping, you got Newbury St. that is full of small shops, and Downtown Crossing is about a 5 minute walk away. so a lot of shopping in the area. Though it does get pretty cold in Boston during February. Faneuil Hall Marketplace has other shops and food places.

if you like sea life and what not, you should check out the New England Aquarium.

the Public Garden and Boston Common look really nice during the winter - you could just take a nice stroll through there.

Harvard Sq. in Cambridge, is pretty cool. Shops, and stuff. just a few train stops away or bus ride, but i'd go with the train in the winter.

If you like Italian food and bakery goods, you have to check out the North End.

If you want to check out a beach and see the water, I'd go to Castle Island in South Boston (my neighborhood).

Night life, i'd check out Lansdowne Street & Kenmore Square...dance clubs, might be able to catch a concert at the Avalon Ballroom, play pool at Jillians and i believe Jillians has a dance club to. theres plenty of bars throughout the city.

If you interested in war history you can check out the Charlestown Navy Yard, Bunker Hill Monument, or Dorchester Heights memorial. the Freedom Trail, Irish Famine memorial...just many historical places in boston.

you like sports, we pretty much got it all....Bruins and Celtics are playing. College hockey - you might be around to catch the Boston Beanpot, which is a hockey tournament between BC, BU, Harvard, and Northeastern. really exciting.

yea, so i could go on, there's a lot to do. if you could tell me things you like to do or like to go to, i might be able to get into specifics of places you might like to see.
