Exactly.
I'm all for peace, loving and understanding, but I'm not at all going to tolerate typical masculine heterosexism.
And for the record, the joke:
Waiter: "So, here's some menus, if you have any questions I'll be back in a few minutes. I've actually gotta go check on another table's meals. I mean, we're all for making substitutions, but pulling the 'vegan' card and asking we take all the 'animal products' off the 'veggie' sandwich is ridiculous."
Me and friend: *blank stares*
Waiter: "You guys aren't vegetarians too are ya?"
"Yeah"
Waiter: "Guess I won't ask how many vegans it takes to screw in a lightbulb." *leaves*

 

Oh yeah. I'd have compassion for that person. Just enough to ensure he was filing for unemployment the next day.

I'm not rabid about much, but as I've said before there are far too many assholes on this planet. I'd leave if they'd let me...

ummm....she did say she didn't order pepsi, yojust take it off her bill and give her water instead....the server refused, that is when it escalated to her asking for the manager (I wish people would read)
Also, places DO NOT carry both pepsi and coke products, its either one or the other. They will only allow you one supplier or the other. The companies supply the machines and such to the restaraunts carrying their product. (haven't you ever heard of ppl refering to the cola wars?)

i wont tell you what i used to do to the drinks of bitchy customers when i used to be a waitress.......

And you don't know me or what I do to make that judgement do you? We're not talking about just any wait person, we're talking abotu an obviously caustic, obnoxious waitperson.

FYI I am a fairly impoverished carpenter of simple means and simple needs, I give away more work than I am paid to do because that's the way I choose to live. I just happen to be a little sensitive about my food and on the rare occasion that I do eat outside of my home I prefer to get what I ask for or not pay for it. That is why it is called "The Service Industry".

Further, when I am served food by a mouthy, obnoxious asshole who cannot get a simple order of a salad, bleu cheese dressing on the side and unsweetened iced tea correct (which for some reason used to occur much more often than not) I prefer to leave the restaurant without eating my meal and therefore without paying for it. Most managers would prefer to make an example of the offending waitperson rather than offend me.

I'm cool with that. So yeah, maybe I'm a little angry.

 

You shouldn't drink coke anyway...it causes anal leakage.....no joke........

 

I never had, but someday I will be in a really bad mood and somebody will piss me off really badly by doing something stupid, ignorant, and on purpose.

Its true about india at any rate. And Coke is also killing trade unionists in columbia. Allied with the security forces there, who are funded by the U$. Boycott Coke!

I usually keep my mouth shut, and then later think of all the things I shoulda said...I am non-confrontational to a fault.

 

I was playing madden 2006 and was screwing up my passing game, then my friend ryan was laughing at me, so I just fuckin went berserker and yelled like a maniac and was about to whip a water bottle at him. My friend matt said the room went red...LOL he was like SATAN CAME UP FROM HELL DUDE HOWD YOU GET THAT PISSED AT HIM OVER MADDEN. My response.... he wasn't even playing, so you have no right to talk smack when your not even playing. Fucking peanut gallery.

 

well me.. haha i Never really Ever get mad or anything.. and when i try to get all GARR on somones ass it turns out comical and everyone is laughing in the end But!! anyways... hahah today i was eating lunch out side and some really preppy chicks threw a bottle on the ground and i went kinda ape shit yelling... hahah but like if you've seen me.. its kind of just expected.. so they were kinda all scoffy and then picked up their bottle and carried on.

Pepsi is just as bad. Don't think that because they advertise a more youthful and fun image they don't kill babies as well.

 

i more broke down than freaked out. but lately people have been stealing money from my bank account, not really stealing, but literally 7 different institutions have messed with payments i made in the past two weeks or purchases i made by double charging me or charging me for something i didn't buy, whatever, one was even my college's library!

so after dealing with all of this stuff, calling one billion places and having conference calls with wachovia i thought everything was squared away.

little did i know...

i moved august 1st, called the gas co. in july to switch service to the new apt. thought it was all taken care of. however, i called them to ask a question and found out they never switched the service. they had no record of my call and told me the order had never been placed...so i speant hours, literally, on the phone trying to do this simple thing. i was told a supervisor would call me within 24 hours, 72 went by, no call, so i called them. again, i was told they were busy and would call me back. so this game basically went on for three weeks, meanwhile, i was getting charged for service at my old apartment because someone had moved in, and service at my new apartment! everything was supposed to be taken care of last wednesday, they were sending someone out, said i didn't need to be here and they were going to call and let me know everything was taken care of. so monday comes around and no call, so i call. nothing happened...they sent someone out FRIDAY and cancelled the order because i wasn't home!! are you kidding me!? how do these people get hired!?

so an hour on the phone later, everything is supposedly fixed, but i literally just broke down and started crying on the phone with this poor customer service woman at the gas co. like couldn't breathe crying! she was like honey, its not the end of the world, we'll get it fixed! i said i hear that before!

that's my story, if you read it, i apologize, needed to vent for a minute...
