I just got one. I opened the box and I was like “oh shit” because the girth was just insane. I thought it would hurt going in but not as much as I thought. It’s 18 inches long and I got it about 2/3 of the way in. I was shaking as it was going in. And it was a very interesting experience. I will do it again but I’ll be getting a thinner one instead

I haven't, but I've wanted to for a long long time. I need to add length. I've always been a girth and full feeling kind of guy.

I wouldn't want anything longer than a good sized cock in terms of length, and girth too as far as that goes.
I say this because I used to get diverticulitis, which is an infection in the colon and trust me, you don't want that. In my case it was caused by poor diet and stress, not from inserting things ( I've never inserted anything that was long enough to go past the rectum ), and it can cause fever, pain, nausea, etc., and if severe enough, can cause the colon to leak or rupture, and if that happens, get to the ER FAST, I MEAN ASAP, because untreated, you won't survive....

How else could someone get this? (So that we can do our best to avoid it)

What my Dr. told me is this; your colon is made up of segments called diverticuli, that he described as slightly rounded bulges. As you age, it's possible for the bulges to get stretched and it tends to form a pouch, this condition is called diverticulosis, which he said may not be a problem by itself, but it sets the stage for diverticulitis,
which can happen when poop gets trapped in the pouch, which can cause irritation, which in turn can lead to infection, then you have diverticulitis.
You might find information online, or you can ask your Dr. , that would probably be the best thing....
