Looks cool. I was into Urban Planning once upon a time. But I never got into these games. I'm not into it if you have to fight wars.
This game looks too suspicious, so if I were you, I wouldn't bother with it. For something that brags to be "open source", it's surprisingly closed and secretive. For linux it's just a bunch of libraries and two executable files with total size of 50 MB, so you have zero access to the game resource files (which you'll need, if you wanna make your own mods). For Windows it's 1.35 GB but you can't extract the EXE, you have to explicitly install it, otherwise you can't play. Games that use such an installer where you have to explicitly install it (instead of just unpacking the content) usually have something to hide and I don't trust them.
That doesn't make it any less suspicious. I know ways to get the Windows files without installing it but the point is why should we resort to such measures, if the developer has nothing to hide?
