LSD can be just as cosmic as shrooms.

Every single comment here about shrooms can apply to LSD and vice versa.

    To the world:

If you can get me mushrooms, you can have all the acid you like, but you may not need it then. When I am finally on them for good I'm sure we can laugh about all of this. People want to die! It's disastrous! lol

We can buy them in shops? We can go and pick them, or grow them? I am being 'told' they're legal? Wow! I mean, let's all go and have a massive fucking party in the 'privacy' of our own mind why don't we? Lotsa fun I'm sure.

No way Jose. So you're saying that they are equal to each other? Come on Writer, i know you're King, but come on now.

They are very similar in my opinion. It's hard to compare the two. When attempted, I think a person compares the experiences had on both. There are a lot of extraneous variables when comparing. A person may take the price in account, a person may have a better mushroom connection than an LSD connection, or vise versa.

I have had weak LSD for $12 a hit. I had great stuff for below $10. When I compared these great, low-price experiences to what I was told psilocybin was like, I automatically thought LSD was going to blow mushrooms out of the water. I've come to learn that the people who's accounts I have heard on mushrooms never had a great source. When I tried them for myself, my mind was blown. For $30 of mushrooms, I had a more profound experience than I have ever had when spending $30+ on LSD (usually white on white).

I don't prefer one over the other. Both have a lot of very apparent positives and both are very similar, at least in my experiences.

They are not equal to each other, but their perceived differences are beyond our limited categories like "shrooms are more cosmic". Even though that is a statement I would agree with, I would never say such a statement is true. I agree with it from my own experience, yet LSD is profoundly cosmic at times, and wait long enough and someone will post "LSD is more cosmic, shrooms just make you laugh a lot".

In the end comparing them should be done to illucidate qualities of each on their own, and not to actually compare two psychedelics in some kind of content, in which the rules are unknown. Take mushrooms when you want mushrooms, acid when you want acid. Only you know what the difference is for you.

Yea, we can all only go off our own experiences here. And it seems that the experiences widely vary. But i suppose that's to be expected.

Just curious, does anyone agree with Mckenna that Psilocybin is an extra-terrestrial intelligence that traveled to earth via solar radiation?
