Anyone Else Hate Socks?

I do I really hate them I used to always ware socks but now I cqnt stand them I always take them off and go barefoot what about u?

 

Right up until the sneakers cause blisters...then I love them again

 

I only wear socks with shoes to absorb sweat and not let my feet get nasty and sweaty when I finally do go barefoot for the day.

 

what do you dislike so much about them?

i love socks myself. obviously i don't wear them all the time, but when my feet are cold they feel so good. they also generally make shoes a little more comfortable.

 

I love socks. They're an integral part of my wardrobe. Knee high socks with boots, thigh high socks with shorts, thick and fuzzy socks to wear around the house, cute little socks peeping out ankle boots, colorful socks, lacy socks, red socks, blue socks, one sock, two socks. and those socks that pointlessly come infused with aloe but really only serve their purpose for one night..i love all socks. ALL SOCKS MATTER

I hate them on dogs.

 

I hate them also. I mean if I have to wear shoes then yes I'll wear socks but as soon as my shoes are off the socks are removed also.

 

I really, really hate wearing socks, even in this cold, below zero weather.
As soon as I enter my home, socks are coming off.

 

Does anyone like wearing gloves on a warm sunny day for no reason ?

Going barefoot all the time feels as normal as going bare handed now, shoes and socks just feel like a totally unnatural addition and come off soon as I don't need them.

 

but seriously, the question wasn't "do you like to wear socks on a warm sunny day for no reason." when it's cold, socks feel good on the feet and gloves feel good on the hands.

 

Life spent on hating lifeless objects is in my opinion a wasted one. Anyway, when the climate is as cold as ours is, socks become something of a necessary evil, so I do appreciate having them where they are still useful. I just try to minimize the times I wear them to keep my old friend, Mr. Fungus from returning to my life. And also, because I now appreciate life's more sensual things more, and want to enjoy them, whereas in the past I foolishly rejected them out of irrational fear.

Yes? Even when it's hot, brutha. Because I have the freedom to choose so.

 

I'm not big on socks either, but there are times that I do wear them. My only pair of shoes I own are black and white Chuck Taylor tennies I find it necessary to wear them as I will ruin them with my sweaty feet. Other than that it's socks off.

 

I love socks, I’ve never really thought about them making my feet hot, but I don’t like wearing shoes or trainers without them.
I do like the way they look too though, I’ve gone right off ‘trainer’ socks that you can’t see. I’m loving a quarter sock, JUST covering my ankle!

I wear them to protect my feet but hate the way they cramp my toes. They all seem to bunch up under my toes. I take them off, along with most everything else, when I get home.

 

The only thing I really like about socks is taking them off!

 

I love socks. And I like sock puppets. I once got my friends to all get high and make sock puppets with me. Then we used a camcorder to film a little thing.

 

No, I like socks.....it's just a bit annoying when they develop holes!

 

Socks are Ok sometimes.
It is the sock thief in my washing machine that annoys me!

 

I recently saw an ad for a giant bounce-house where adults were welcome. It featured a POV video of someone going through the thing, and many of the guests in the facility could be seen. Out of the dozens and dozens of people in the video, ONE was barefoot. Everybody else was wearing socks. WTF? Why would you wear socks in a bounce house? It didn't appear to be a cold day. I'd think bare feet would give one better traction on the plastic, and be a lot funner.
