The term "Tsunami" comes from the Japanese word for harbor (tsu) and wave (nami). The origins of the word are not surprising given that the majority of tsunamis occur within the Pacific Ocean and vicinity of Japan.

"Lets build a massive nuclear reactor in a Tsunami zone"

That was kind of the bad idea that truly denies belief.

Water also slows/absorbs neutrons , once it goes to steam its like pulling out more rods.

I am a little rusty on the nuclear physics, been a wile I but got started on it with the youtube learned alot.

That phase started here, excellent series this guy does.

Hyperloop is a great idea, but it has it's problems. Mainly with seals and the need to keep the tunnel airtight. In event of an accident, the possibilities of passengers ending up in a vacuum is another concern.
It also cannot climb mountains or travel across water, so it will never replace airlines.
I personally think that it could have a future mainly in replacing trucks in freight transport. The pods would not need to be pressurized, making them simpler and cheaper.

The power station was totally unaffected by the tsunami.
Their were 2 problems, both of which should never have happened.

The first was that the tsunami brought down the power lines in the area. leaving the power station without usable electricity to run the coolant pumps.

The second was that the fuel storage tanks for the emergency generators were constructed outside the bund area for fire safety reasons, so they ended up contaminated with flood water.

The first possibility should have been overcome by fitting a 500 kva delta star transformer to the station output to provide in house electricity. Needless to say, this should have been done during construction of the power station and would have cost around £5,000.

Also, a competent diesel mechanic should have been able to purge the water and start the generators within an hour.

    Is this for me?

If so it's emissions are much lower than the average American truck or SUV. And it is legal now. It passes safety inspection and all that.

It's not an electric car but I don't see how my car relates to anything. Is this more of the point I was making. As a right wing person all you can is nitpick and say that since I'm not a cave man I am a hypocrite?

I'm not his real estate agent I don't know why he bought anything. It's really ignoring a lot to get the point of saying "ok he bought a beach front house so I should not change my life". You have control of yourself and should make better choices then a man you don't like.

My point is: Why should we take climate change alarmism and rising sea levels seriously, when the alarmists (like Obama) don't take it seriously themselves (buying an ocean front mansion)

Edit: One would think that a college boy would’ve got it the first time around
