Anyone a fan of German metal bands?

bands like the scorps are great..but for me my favorite lead guitarists are german,namely michael schenker.

 

He's alright, nothing compared to Andy La'Roche from Mercyful Fate and Kind Diamond... I love haunting melodies with long leads with an awesome storyline. Their older stuff is better like the cd Abigail or Them.

 

Mercyful fate and King Diamond are not german.

 

Doesnt Andy LaRoche play for the Pittsburgh Pirates?

 

Actually, King Diamond is from Denmark which is close enough to Germany, and they recorded stuff in German studios... Andy is at least over 50 by now, so if he's able to play lead guitar for two bands and play pro baseball, that would be amazing. I'm not into sports so it's likely someone else has the same name. In any case, he's still a much better guitarist... but it's all good, we all have different tastes in music. I still listen to the Scorpions, even play Rock you like a Hurricane on my guitar, but play way more diamond and fate tunes. Peace man
