Anybody Else Speak In Memes?

I mean when the whole squad on point, one does not simply..

I've been saying these things lately lol. And my all time favorite, what if I told you..

 

Yes.I've started to say "One does not simply..." quite a lot.

 

I only say 'that's what she said' about ten times a day. But that's just to honor Steve Carell.

Oh yeah, and the stuff from archaic meme guy. Frozen water, frozen water, infant!

but no, i don't think i do that very much.

there are some things i might say on here
or to somebody if i was ever talking to anybody,
which doesn't happen often,
you know if a phrase expresses and idea well
then of course maybe i'll use it

knowing of course that most people including myself
when we here an oft repeated expression,
we suspect its being used to express bull-shit.

but sometimes, i mean, yah they're fun to say,
which is probably why so many people believe
and tell each other so much that is illogical,
that and the familiarity of doing so.

 

We likely all speak in memes, in the sense meant by atheist Richard Dawkins, who coined the term. I assume you mean memes of the Internet caption variety though...

Rarely do I say them out loud to people but I occasionally do the "What if I told you..." thing in my head.

It can mean whatever you want it to mean!​

Only meaningless bullshit someone made up;​

A militant atheist playing with some words!​

Militant atheists enjoying making up words;​

So they can ramble without saying anything!​

So they have an excuse, to spout any rhetoric;​

Encouraging anyone, to fight over any words!​

Thinking making up words, changes anything!​

Hoping their fighting can give words meaning!​

Hoping making up words might change reality!​

When without context any words are gibberish!​

When without love, any content is meaningless!​

The context of our Truth, determines everything!​

Words, are no more trustworthy than are people!​

When you so seldom, even trust your own words;​

Babylonians, seldom really trust their dictionary,​

Which is why, Babylonians distrust one another,​

With memes, they just say they mean something!​

Whether they really mean anything whatsoever,​

The words don't matter without a dictionary!​

Memes are supposed to be evolutionary yet,​

Words all depend on each other, to evolve,​

Merely redundant if you think about it,​

Nothing evolves bereft an environment!​

Words are all about our communication!​

Every language being alive and growing,​

Forever evolving and changing over time!​

When people don't even trust dictionaries!​

Never value all the words they use equally!​

Their own egos, may go to work in overtime!​

Some jokes, are just harder to get than others,​

Some words, are only people's egos mocking us,​

Some words are obviously not worth repeating!​

People insisting they alone give words meaning;​

That words, are merely tools for everyone to use!​

Then cussing out the very same tools they all use!​

When the greater Context is what gives meaning!​

Every word just keeps changing with the context!​

As changing contexts, keep confusing the clueless!​

Especially if no one was really trying to be funny!​

Nevermind, what was meme saying about memes?​

That's my meme and no meme can prove me wrong.​

For my meme is that all memes aren't even wrong,​

Scientific theories, like evolution, requiring proof,​

Meaningless gibberish can never be called wrong!​

All memsy were the borogroves, and mome raths,​

Now there's a meme, you can deposit in a bank!​

My meme is memes, are but meaningless words,​

Chatter of monkeys forever searching for food,​

Searching for the way to give words meaning,​

Because none of them trust, any dictionaries!​

Another kind of popular, fashion statement,​

Word salad, or possibly a newer mysticism,​

If its best to remain silent now and meme,​

If people need to evolve instead of words!​

When they enjoy making up dictionaries,​

Because none of them trust dictionaries,​

That only contain, common definitions!​

Ask not what a meme, may do for you!​

But what can you do for some memes!​

Memes are all our friends, in the end;​

Bad memes gonna getcha in the end!​

Instant karma kills any bad memes!​

The truth always decides meaning!​

Tongue in cheek acquiring entirely new meaning in French!​

Sweet silent memeorable memefilled music, to my ears!​

Inspiring a few other evolutionary memes, one can hope!​

Which have something meaningful, to say about language!​

well memes being meems, a lot of us probably do a lot of the time without realizing it.
before the term was coined, my mom's favorite 'expression' was "its just an expression".
the term "cleche" comes to mind.
